Forever is included with a WoW Subscription or Game Time. Level cap is 60. Everyone starts at 1. Packs add Skyborne, beta, name holds and cosmetics.
Hardcore is on the roadmap after launch. Day-1 rulesets are Normal, PvP and Roleplaying.
Beta progress does not carry to live. Name reservation needs any upgrade pack and holds up to 3 characters.
Use the groups below in order if you are new: start pages, then class, then leveling, then launch prep.
Raids need
level 60. The 5 weeks from 4 November to 9 December are the window that decides your 1st
raid night.
What you get on day 1
Forever is Blizzard's permanent Classic-era game. It sits after Warcraft III Reforged:
Forsaken Kingdom and before
Molten Core.
Playable races are the Classic 8 plus Skyborne (Windshaper on
Horde, High Order on
Alliance). Classes are the Classic 9 with new race combinations.
New zones include
Zephras Isle (1 to 12), the Riverglades (mid-30s to mid-40s),
Mount Hyjal and Shen'dralas.
9 new
dungeons ship at launch. 3
raids unlock on 9 December. Darkspear Islands is a new 15 versus 15
battleground.
Paid character boosts are not sold in Forever packs. The path to 60 is
quests, dungeons and play time, or a Pro service on our shelf.
Invite-A-Friend Launch Codes email from 20 October. Invitees can play 4 to 11 November without a sub. They still get no beta.
No flying
mounts. Itemization and
talent milestones were retuned. Class buffs that used to sit in trees are baseline for several classes.
