WoW Forever Dwarf Shaman Guide: Racials, Totems, Alliance Shaman Basics

Dwarf Shaman is the free Alliance Shaman in World of Warcraft: Forever. Blizzard's Deep Dive article ships six race/class combinations at launch, with more planned. No new base class was announced.

Dwarf Shaman is Alliance. It is not behind a pack. Shop copy named the combo before BlizzCon weekend; the Deep Dive confirmed it as a launch pairing. A normal WoW subscription plays Forever. Packs are optional. Heroic at $29.99 unlocks Skyborne and Zephras 1–12; it does not include beta. Existing Horde Shaman races are not listed as removed. Alliance Skyborne are Mages, not Shamans. Horde Skyborne can be Shaman behind that pack. Class landscape: Forever classes. Paid race: Skyborne. Hub: /wow-forever.

Launch is 4 November 2026 at 15:00 PST globally. Blizzard's announcement lede also says PDT; the shop and later copy say PST. 4 November 2026 is after US daylight-saving ends, so PST is the legal clock. Dates: release date. Wildhammer lore is not announced. Official posts give the combo name and stop. They do not publish a Wildhammer speech, a starting-zone rewrite for Dun Morogh, or a clan quest. Reddit already writes “Wildhammer clan, my beloved.” That is player hope, not a Blizzard paragraph. We'll add one as soon as Blizzard publishes it.

Game-wide rule, from Blizzard's Deep Dive article: every race gets two active and two passive racials, similar offensive budget, signature utility kept. Official Dwarf examples — these are the lines you can plan around:

Percentages, durations, and a full per-rank table are not yet in Blizzard's written articles. Do not copy Classic Stoneform armor numbers onto Forever. Mace Specialization as spell-and-ability crit matters on a caster or hybrid spec if you actually wear a mace; it is not a hidden Enhancement buff unless the weapon is a mace. Wowhead's racials write-up covers other races (Tauren Cultivation, Orc Axe Specialization as crit, Gnome Expansive Mind and Eureka!, Skyborne split racials). Those are not Dwarf facts. Full tables for Human, Night Elf, Troll, and the rest remain unpublished. The Deep Dive promised more class and race articles.

Blizzard's Deep Dive: all specs are updated. Enhancement Shaman gets hybrid itemization help (named next to Retribution Paladin). Talent rows match 1.12. Milestones at 11 / 16 (new) / 21 / 31. Blessing of Kings, Divine Spirit, and Improved Mark of the Wild are baseline — those three are not Shaman buttons, but they change what the group asks you to bring. BlizzCon coverage also lists Improved Battle Shout as baseline.

A Shaman spell list is not published. Totem names, ranks, new totems, Ghost Wolf changes, interrupt, purge, Bloodlust/Heroism, and Elemental or Restoration talent names are missing from the official dump. Paladin received a full kit. Shaman did not. More class articles are planned. This page will not fill totems from Classic, Anniversary, or Season of Discovery and label them Forever.

What you can still say without guessing unpublished buttons:

• Shaman exists on Alliance as Dwarf, and on Horde as the Classic races plus pack-gated Skyborne.
• Enhancement is the spec Blizzard named for itemization help. That is gear path help, not a DPS rank.
• Combat pacing for ordinary mobs is 10–15 seconds (Deep Dive). That is a world-combat note, not a rotation.
• Dual spec is not published. Dungeon finder is not published.

If you came here for Alliance Shaman totems, the honest answer today is: the class is in the game; the totem table is not in the articles. Ask again when a class article lands. Paladin dump, for contrast: Undead Paladin.

Skyborne (shen’dorei) pick Horde or Alliance at create. Shared classes: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Druid (new forms — form list unpublished). Horde-only: Shaman. Alliance-only: Mage. Race plus Zephras Isle 1–12 sits behind the Skyborne Heroic Pack at $29.99 (shop + Blizzard's pre-purchase article + What’s Next). Epic is $59.99 and Collection is $79.99 (through 11 January 2027). Heroic does not include beta. Official shop copy beats Wowhead's Skyborne article on that point.

Dwarf Shaman is the free Alliance answer. You do not pay LFCarry or Blizzard a race fee to roll one. You do not start on Zephras. You start in the ordinary Alliance 1–12 path. Skyborne Horde Shaman is a different identity: paid start, Skywall-themed island, and — reported from the BlizzCon demo, not yet in Blizzard's written Deep Dive — Horde Windshaper racials including Walk on Air. Walk on Air is per BlizzCon coverage. Specific Skyborne racials are not yet in Blizzard's written Deep Dive. Do not buy Heroic from us. We do not sell the race.

If the thing you wanted was Alliance Windfury, Dwarf Shaman is the subscription path. If the thing you wanted was a Shen’dorei Shaman on Zephras, that is a Blizzard pack and a Horde create. Forum threads already argue faction support. Sell both new combos. Do not write that Horde is the only real faction.

Dwarf Shaman is bundled with Undead Paladin as the pair 2005 veterans are planning. It is quieter. There is no 400-reply lore-hate thread with this name on the category scrape. Ally-Shaman threads exist. Unique Ghost Wolf is a wish, not a published model.

On the official launch thread, Eastcoast wrote: “New zones. Undead paladins. Dwarf shamans. New races. 10/20 player raids. I’m in love”. Reddit class-planning threads include “Dwarf shaman. Wildhammer clan, my beloved.” (r/wow) and “Dwarf Shaman. I want to see how well it’s been integrated.” (r/classicwow). A separate r/wow thread is titled WoW forever | Ally Shaman.

Counter-snippet on another thread: some players treat Dwarf Shaman as less novel because the pairing has existed in later expansions, and treat Undead Paladin as the one that will get smoked as the day-one pick. That is opinion. Day-one race mix is unpublished. YouTube Suggest already carries “dwarf shaman wow forever.” Google web Suggest has not attached the phrase yet.

Unique Ghost Wolf: community mount-thread wish only. Whether a Dwarf-specific Ghost Wolf exists is not published. Do not expect one in the shop or on this page. Ground mounts and riding: Forever mounts.

Full zone and dungeon table: Forever leveling. Notes that matter on this combo:

• Start: ordinary Alliance 1–12 (Dun Morogh / Coldridge for a Dwarf). Zephras is pack-only.
• Riverglades mid-30s to mid-40s. Official quest counts: more than 150 (What’s Next) and nearly 200 Horde and Alliance (Found Photos). Both stay visible. Powderfuse Port via Tanaris. Hall of Thanes (beneath Ironforge, press 13–18) is on the Alliance-leaning side of the nine new dungeons; Horde can enter, per BlizzCon coverage.
• Mount Hyjal at 60, per BlizzCon coverage. First raids 9 December 2026: Barrow Deeps 10, Hyjal Summit 20. Onyxia 40 is on the on-stage roadmap.
• Crafted food: small experience bonus plus stats. Bonus size unpublished. Camping is a Cooking system, not a tenth profession.
• Talent milestones 11 / 16 / 21 / 31. Spec reads wait for a Shaman article; do not import a Classic tree and call it Forever.
• Find Treasure stacking with other tracking is a published leveling convenience if you also run a tracking class ability. That is not a gold-per-hour figure.

XP curve, dual spec, dungeon finder, dungeon party sizes, Shen’dralas range, and Dalaran / Krol’dok official brackets are not published. Nine dungeon names: dungeons. Raid dates: raids. Hardcore is after launch: Hardcore. Rulesets: realmless. Beta (Epic/Collection, ends 21 October 2026 PST official): beta.

Dedicated pre-order: Dwarf Shaman 1–60 at $259. It reuses the Forever leveling slider. Live checkout on /wow-forever/leveling: full 1–60 for $259; shorter brackets cost less on the slider. Delivery from 4 November 2026. Self-play or piloted. Class can be set to Shaman; faction Alliance; ruleset Normal, PvP, or Roleplaying. Hardcore is a different offer and is not a launch-week 1–60.

• Coaching $29/hour — useful while the Shaman kit is still unpublished; we'll add totems as soon as Blizzard publishes them.
• Gold from $19 per 100g; 1,000 gold $150.

• Raids from 9 December: Barrow Deeps $149, Hyjal Summit $249.
• Professions 1–300 $89.
• Custom order from $10.
• Hardcore 1–60 when that ruleset opens: $349 on /wow-forever/hardcore — not a November 4 product.

We will not sell a Skyborne unlock. If you already own Heroic and want Horde Skyborne Shaman after Zephras, that is still a leveling slider, not a race purchase. Forsaken Paladin is the free Horde headline combo: Undead Paladin.
