WoW Forever Enhancement Shaman PvP Guide

Enhancement PvP is Stormstrike, Windfury, Ghost Wolf, Frost Shock kiting. You are not the 5-man threat sponge. Hub: Shaman hub. Lockouts: Enhancement PvE. Caster flags: Elemental PvP.

The 1st public test of Shaman duels is the Forever Open on 17 and 18 October: a 1v1 tournament on the beta PvP ruleset with level 30 Horde characters and a 100,000-dollar prize pool, with 5,555 dollars for the best player of each class.

Blizzard published the Shaman kit on 7 October 2026. Two-Handed Axes and Maces is baseline and the kit names no Dual Wield, so the plan is a 2H. Point spends stay provisional while the beta runs, and Dual Specialization at level 40 lets you keep a PvP and a PvE spec.

The burst. Stormstrike is the 16-point gold talent on an 8-second cooldown, and it adds 20% to your next Earth Shock, Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning: Stormstrike into Earth Shock is the kill window. Maelstrom Weapon stacks charges on melee hits until Lightning Bolt is instant, a finisher on a runner.

Survival. Improved Ghost Wolf works indoors at rank 1 and is instant at rank 2. Anticipation now gives twice the dodge, and Toughness gives Stamina instead of Armor. Elemental Devastation sits in Elemental row 2 as the splash Blizzard built for Enhancement: a few points there are the cheap way to add crit.

Rage of the Farseer at 31 points is +30% attack speed for 25 seconds on a 3-minute cooldown. Save it for the flag room. Spirit Weapons is threat control, more PvE than PvP. If crits look low on the beta, Blizzard confirmed on 29 September that the lower PvP crit damage is a bug, not a nerf.

PvP Enhancement wants stun-cap, AP and a 2H that procs Windfury. Rank pieces beat random dungeon mail once week 7 lands.

How rank gear works (Blizzard, 7 October 2026). Honor buys a blue and an epic PvP set, and each epic upgrade needs an Emboldened Seal with a rank requirement. Rank Points come from battlegrounds and PvP quests with a weekly cap, so the 14 ranks are a weekly climb: a tabard at Rank 1, a mount at Rank 11 and the epic weapons at Rank 14. Since the 1 October beta build Honor prices are about 50% higher and the Honor cap is 25,000.

Week 1. Quest 2H for the 1st brackets. Early 2H.

Rank weeks. Rank 10 week 7, Rank 13 week 9. Darkspear Islands, the new 15v15 battleground for levels 30 to 60 (4 capture points, a central flag, first to 2,000), and the classic BGs feed the climb. Rank 14 offer.

From 9 December. Raid 2H only if it beats your rank weapon. Raid carries.

Flag rooms want Engineering. Ultimate PvP on the live offer is Engineering + Enchanting. Open a card to land on Shaman Enhancement on the PvP ruleset.

Flag and stun tracking.

• BattlegroundTargets: who is on the flag.
• LoseControl: your stun DR.
• Diminishing returns helper: Stormstrike after their trinket.
• Range on Frost Shock: kite without clipping.

Threat meters stay on the raid mega.
