Druid changes in WoW Forever
Blizzard reworked all 9 classes for Forever. The only full class write-up published so far is the
Paladin.
The
Druid kit is not published as of 2026-09-23. Blizzard says more class posts follow in videos and articles.
1
Druid line is already live in the
talent rules. Improved Mark of the Wild is baseline. Groups no longer need a Druid to spend points on that buff.
Divine Spirit and Blessing of Kings are baseline too. The pattern frees every hybrid tree from old buff tax.
Spell, melee and ranged hit are 1 merged stat. Crit is merged the same way. Weapon skill on items is lower per piece.
Talent trees keep Classic shape with
gold milestones at 11, 16, 21 and 31 points. Every confirmed class line sits on class changes.
The 9-class shelf is on classes. Raid timing for a leveled
Druid is on raids.
Druid forms in WoW Forever
Blizzard has not published a form-by-form
Druid kit as of 2026-09-23. Bear, Cat, Travel, Aquatic and Moonkin names from Classic do not appear with new numbers in Forever posts.
What is published is visual and racial. Skyborne
Druids receive new Skyborne forms. Blizzard names that change in the Skyborne article.
Night Elf and
Tauren keep their Classic form art unless Blizzard posts a later update. No form power numbers are in the Create the Hero or Deep Dive articles.
Until a
Druid class post lands, treat form roles as Classic-shaped. Heal, tank and damage still sit on the same fantasy. The numbers wait on Blizzard.
Camping and profession objects can grant Spirit or Intellect buffs that do not stack with class buffs. That matters for healer gearing later. Details sit on camping.
Travel form and aquatic form were Classic tools for long routes. Forever adds ship routes and the
Riverglades frontier, so movement racials still matter beside forms.
Blizzard has not said whether any form gains new buttons at a set level. Wait for the class post before locking a leveling form order.
The release timing for any later
Druid article is not on the 2026-09-23 ledger.
Night Elf versus Tauren Druid
Night Elf is the
Alliance
Druid.
Tauren is the
Horde Druid. Both sit on the official matrix. Neither is a new combo.
| Race | Faction | Published racials |
|---|---|---|
| Elune's Light (+10% crit 15s), Shadowmeld, Quickness (+1% Dodge, +2% run), Wisp Spirit (+75% run while dead) | ||
| War Stomp (2s stun), Cultivation (bonus herbs), Plainsrunning (move-speed stacks), Endurance (+5% Health, +1% Hit) |
Night Elf leans stealth and crit. Shadowmeld and Quickness fit open-world travel and PvP disengage. Elune's Light is a short crit window.
Tauren leans survivability and gathering. Endurance adds Health and Hit. War Stomp is a short area stun. Cultivation boosts herbs without herbalism.
Plainsrunning stacks move speed while moving. That helps long
quest routes in the
Riverglades and beyond.
Pick the faction, then the racial fantasy. Forever still keeps factions separate in groups and
dungeons. Full racial text is on racials.
Priest overlaps
Night Elf on
Alliance.
Druid stays the shapeshift path.
Horde healers compare
Tauren Druid to
Troll Priest or
Shaman without a published kit.
Druid races and the Troll question
Only 4 race cells list
Druid:
Night Elf,
Tauren,
Horde Skyborne (Windshaper) and
Alliance Skyborne (High Order).
Troll
Druid is not on the official matrix as of 2026-09-23. Searches for Troll Druid will not find a legal combo at launch from Blizzard's tables.
Orc,
Undead,
Gnome,
Human and
Dwarf also have no
Druid cell. The 6 named new combos do not include a new Druid race.
Skyborne
Druid is the real new option. Both factions get it. The race sits behind the Skyborne Heroic Pack and starts on
Zephras Isle, levels 1 to 12.
Skyborne also brings Walk on Air, Wind Blessed (+1% haste) and Elemental Insight (+5% vs Elementals).
Horde Skyborne add Skysight.
Alliance Skyborne add Read Ley Line.
More on the race at Skyborne. The full combo grid is on classes.
Only Blizzard's Create the Hero matrix decides legal combos at launch.
Troll
Druid is absent from that table.
Druid talents at 20 and 60
Druid trees keep 3 trees and 7 rows. Gold 1-point milestones sit at 11, 16, 21 and 31 spent points.
Blizzard has not published
Druid
talent names as of 2026-09-23. Improved Mark of the Wild being baseline is the only named Druid talent change.
The beta runs 17 September to 21 October 2026. Cap starts at 20, then rises to 30. Early golds are the 1st live test.
How to read the milestones is on the talent calculator page. Spec ranks without names sit on the tier list.
Beta progress does not carry to the live realms. Rebuild the tree at launch from whatever Blizzard has posted by then.
Leveling a Druid 1 to 60
Forever caps at 60. Blizzard frames 1,000+ new
quests across the 1 to 60 journey. There is no level scaling and no flying
mounts.
Mount cost moves into riding training. Exact
gold cost and required level are not published as of 2026-09-23. See mounts.
Skyborne
Druids start on
Zephras Isle through level 12.
Night Elf start in Teldrassil and
Darkshore.
Tauren start in
Mulgore.
The
Riverglades is the mid-30s to mid-40s frontier with 150+ new quests. Shen'dralas sits between
Mulgore and
Desolace.
Mount Hyjal is a named endgame adventure region.
Legacy Challenges band
dungeons as 15 to 25, 26 to 45 and 46 to 60.
Plan 1 clear per dungeon for quest XP, then return to the open world.
Raids unlock on 9 December 2026:
Barrow Deeps for 10 players and
Hyjal Summit for 20.
Onyxia is a Legacy Raid challenge.
Routes sit on leveling and power leveling. New zones are on new zones. Dungeons are on dungeons.
Name reservation runs 27 October to 3 November 2026. Reserve
Night Elf,
Tauren or Skyborne early if the name matters. Details sit on name reservation.

Coaching sits on /wow-forever/coaching when you want a Pro to set form priorities from published racials only.
We do not invent
Druid
talent names. If Blizzard has not posted a line, the coach says so and stays on Mark of the Wild, racials and the route.
Shelf page for the order is /wow-forever/leveling.
