WoW Forever Troll Racials: Abilities and Best Classes

Troll racials in World of Warcraft: Forever are a full 4-trait kit published on the Create the Hero page.

The 2 actives are Berserking and Rapid Regeneration. The 2 passives are Beast Slaying and Regeneration.

Berserking raises casting and attack speed by 10% for 10 seconds. Casters and melee share the same haste button.

Troll Warlock is 1 of the 6 named new race and class combinations for launch on 4 November 2026.

Raids open on 9 December 2026. Plan level 60 before that date if you want raid week 1.

Beta runs 17 September through 21 October 2026 on Epic and Collection editions. Test Berserking on your target class before launch.

Early name reservation runs 27 October through 3 November 2026. Hold the Troll name while that window is open.

Berserking increases casting and attack speed by 10% for 10 seconds. It is the shared offensive cooldown for every Troll class.

Rapid Regeneration regenerates 50% of maximum Health over time. It is the big self-heal when you need to recover mid-fight or between pulls.

Berserking replaces the older health-scaled version many Classic players remember. Forever posts a flat 10% casting and attack speed buff for 10 seconds.

Use Rapid Regeneration when you need a large Health return. Pair it with potions and healer plan rather than treating it as a full wipe recover.

Stack Berserking with trinkets and potions on burn windows. The haste window of 10 seconds is short. Plan the casts before you press it.

Rapid Regeneration is an active. It is separate from the Regeneration passive that keeps a slice of Health regen in combat.

Talent routes still come from the class tree on the talent calculator. Racials sit on top of that plan.

Beast Slaying increases damage to Beasts by 5%. Outdoor leveling, some dungeons and any Beast-heavy raid trash reward the passive.

Regeneration lets 10% of Health regeneration continue during combat. It is quiet sustain while you stay in the fight.

Beast Slaying stacks with class damage. Hunter and outdoor leveling routes feel it most often. Casters still keep the 5% when the target is a Beast.

Regeneration is not a burst heal. It is a small combat regen floor that pairs with Rapid Regeneration when you need a larger Health spike.

During 1 to 60, Beast Slaying speeds Beast quest hubs and some starter zones. It is free damage on those targets with no button press.

In raids after 9 December, Beast Slaying only helps when the enemy type is Beast. Bring Berserking for every other burn.

Regeneration helps melee stay in range longer between healer casts. Casters feel it less, yet it still ticks while you cast.

The official Horde matrix lists 7 Troll classes: Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock and Warrior.

Troll Paladin and Troll Druid do not appear on the published matrix. Those combinations are not available at launch.

Undead is the Horde race that gains Paladin at launch. If you want Horde Paladin, that path is Undead, covered on Undead Paladin.

Skyborne Windshaper is a different Horde race. Keep the Troll and Skyborne matrices separate at character create.

Blizzard has not published a racial ranking. Match Berserking and Beast Slaying to the role you will play at 60.

Warlock is the Forever headline on Troll. It is a new combo, and Berserking hastes the cast chain that Warlocks live on.

Hunter gains Beast Slaying on many outdoor and dungeon Beast targets, plus Berserking for ranged pressure.

Mage, Priest and Shaman all press Berserking for a flat casting-speed window. Rapid Regeneration covers panic Health gaps.

Rogue and Warrior use Berserking on the attack-speed side. Regeneration helps them stay in melee longer between heals.

Cross-check roles on the tier list and class changes, then roll the Troll once the class is fixed.

Level that Troll to 60 before 9 December if raids are the goal. Pre-order leveling starts at $299 with 1 booster.

Troll Warlock is 1 of the 6 named new race and class combinations. Blizzard lists it beside Orc Mage, Undead Paladin, Human Hunter, Gnome Priest and Dwarf Shaman.

Berserking gives Warlock a clean 10% casting-speed button for 10 seconds. Rapid Regeneration and combat Regeneration add self-heal tools casters rarely get from race alone.

Beast Slaying still applies when the target is a Beast. It is a side bonus on outdoor Beasts. It is not the main reason to pick the combo.

Further Troll class openings beyond the published matrix are not published as of 23 September 2026. Blizzard says more combinations are planned for future updates.

For a 1 to 60 path, use the leveling plan or power leveling before the 9 December raid unlock.

Affliction, Demonology and Destruction talent lines still come from the class tree. Berserking is a shared haste racial on top of those builds.

Start professions early so the Warlock is raid-ready on 9 December. Profession coverage lives on professions.

Berserking is the shared PvE and PvP offensive cooldown. Rapid Regeneration is the emergency Health button in both modes.

Beast Slaying matters most in PvE content full of Beasts. Regeneration is quiet sustain in long arena and dungeon fights.

Dual specialization is not published as of 23 September 2026. Build 1 talent tree until a 2nd talent-set product appears.

Hardcore arrives after launch. At 4 November you pick Normal, PvP or Roleplaying, then create the Troll.

Reserve names from 27 October through 3 November 2026 if you need a specific spelling before servers open.

Grouping stays inside your ruleset under Realmless. Read realmless before you create on the wrong lane.
