WoW Forever Rogue PvP Guide

• October 15, 2026 patch notes. Rogue gets fixes only in the 15 October notes, and Sap no longer triggers weapon procs. Undead Touch of the Grave now procs 20% for Rogues (was 5%), with a cooldown of 25 seconds, and Will of the Forsaken can't be used under Scatter Shot. Human Sword Specialization is replaced by Ruthless, +2% critical strike chance on all spells and attacks. Full list: October 15 patch notes. Blizzard set the climb on 7 October: Honor buys the blue and epic PvP sets, weekly-capped Rank Points move you through the 14 ranks, and Battle for the Darkspear Islands adds a 15v15 battleground for levels 30 to 60. The Forever Open duel tournament on 17 and 18 October, with a 100,000-dollar prize pool on level 30 beta characters, pays 5,555 dollars to the best player of each class, so it is the 1st big look at Rogue duels.

Level 30 PvP tier list from the beta, October 2026: the Rogue class is B tier, with 46.7% of 1,163 duels won in the Forever Open qualifiers. Forever launches on 4 November. All 9 classes: level 30 PvP tier list.

Subtlety here is Sap, Cheap Shot, Kidney Shot and Vanish resets. Combat stays on the raid page. Blizzard named the Subtlety golds on 7 October; spends stay provisional.

Level 10 to 30. Stay Subtlety. Sap no longer breaks Stealth, so you Sap the healer, stay hidden and open on the next target with Cheap Shot. Dirty Tricks makes Sap and Blind much cheaper. Premeditation is now the 16-point gold, from level 25, and lasts 20 seconds.

Level 40 to 60. Thousand Cuts is the new 31-point gold, from level 40: each Rupture tick cuts the Energy cost of your next Hemorrhage or Backstab. Cutthroat can let Backstab free an Ambush outside Stealth. Do not dump Combat energy talents for ranks.

Human Perception finds stealthed enemies. Gnome Escape Artist breaks roots so Vanish can fire. Distract now makes enemies worse at spotting Stealth for 10 seconds, but it also tells players a Rogue is near. Since Blizzard's 8 October build notes, PvP critical strikes no longer carry a damage reduction, so Rogue crits land in full.

Stamina leather plus rank rewards. Rank 10 week 7, Rank 13 week 9.

Blizzard's 7 October PvP post: Honor buys a blue and an epic PvP set, and each epic upgrade needs an Emboldened Seal with a rank requirement. Rank Points come from battlegrounds and PvP quests with a weekly cap, Rank 11 brings mounts and Rank 14 the epic weapons. Since the 1 October build gear costs about 50% more Honor and the Honor cap is 25,000.

Week 1. Honor greens with agility. Get week-1 gear done.

Weeks 2–3. Dungeon stamina pieces between BG sessions. Get the dungeon set done.

Rank weeks. Push Rank 10 then 13. Get Rank 14 done.

From 9 December. Mix rank rewards with Barrow Deeps / Hyjal Summit leather drops.
