Yes. Blizzard's 7 October Rogue post lists no change to Kick, so plan on the Classic 5-yard interrupt for caster packs.

Q: Are poisons published?

Yes. On 7 October Blizzard gave every poison more charges and let poisons stack with Sharpening Stones and Weightstones. Improved Poisons now gives a large chance not to spend a charge, and Malice and Precision add crit and hit to poisons.

Blizzard's 7 October kit keeps the Rogue as the class with the highest single-target melee damage potential. Every poison has more charges and stacks with Sharpening Stones and Weightstones. Sap no longer breaks Stealth, so you can take 1 mob out of a big pack before the tank pulls. Expose Armor now matches 5 Sunder Armors and no longer blocks the tank's Sunder, and Feint drops twice as much threat.

Combat vs Assassination at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 (PvE)

Subtlety openers belong on the PvP page. Here you pick Combat or Assassination for lockouts. Blizzard named the golds on 7 October; point spends stay provisional while the beta runs.

Combat. Any 1-hander works now. Hack and Slash folds the old Sword, Dagger, Mace and Fist specializations into 1 talent and gives axes the sword's extra-attack chance. Flawless Execution, the 16-point gold, makes Eviscerate cost 10 less Energy. Weapon Expertise lowers the target's dodge and parry, and Precision adds hit to poisons too. Watch threat: Feint now drops twice as much, so press it after a stealthed opener.

Assassination. Daggers in both hands. Cold Blood moves down to 16 points. Mutilate is the new 21-point gold: 60 Energy, both daggers, more damage on poisoned targets and 2 combo points. Venom is the new 31-point finisher: 30% more poison damage and 10% more poison procs. Blizzard expects Assassination to keep Venom and Slice and Dice up and spend fewer finishers on Rupture and Eviscerate.

Do not spend golds in Subtlety for raid night. Recheck the talent calculator.

Rogue BiS by week (PvE)

Agility, hit, crit. Daggers for Assassination, any 1-hander for Combat now that axes are in. Named lists stay provisional.

Week 1. Quest agility blues. Get week-1 gear done.

Weeks 2–3. Pre-raid dungeon set. 1 clear for quests. Get the dungeon set done.

From 9 December. Barrow Deeps (10), Hyjal Summit (20) and Onyxia's Lair (40). Raid carry options.

Stealth skips camps, energy still gates pull speed. Count on 150 hours of quests; since the 1 October beta build dungeon quests pay 50% less bonus XP, so the route stays in the open world.
