Shadow is the DoT Priest for Forever instances. You hold Shadow Word: Pain and Mind Flay on bosses. Threat on the 1st pull of a dungeons is the real risk. Race detail: Priest racials. Hub: Priest hub. Burst PvP: Shadow PvP. Raid heals: Holy PvE.

Mid levels: Mind Flay is the single-target core. SW:P tags packs. A tiny Disc dip for mana tools shows up in community trees. Call it optional and provisional.

At 60: finish Shadow, then the Forever gold row. Do not invent a Classic 51-point total. Recheck when Blizzard posts the Priest kit.

Caster weapons into the 9 December lockouts

Shadow wants spell damage and the merged hit/crit pool on caster weapons. Week 1 quest blues, then dungeons sets, then raid.

Week 1. Swap the wand and caster weapon every 5 levels. Week-1 caster pieces.

Weeks 2 to 3. 1 full dungeons clear for quests, then open world. Pre-raid caster set.

From 9 December. Walk Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia in the dungeon set. Replace slots from lockouts. Raid carries.
