WoW Forever Holy Priest PvP Guide

Holy PvP is Flash Heal on the focused ally, a peel, then reposition. You are not parsing Mind Flay. Race detail: Priest racials. Raid heals: Holy PvE. Burst damage: Shadow PvP.

2 dates for PvP players this month. Battle for the Darkspear Islands, announced on 7 October, is a new 15v15 battleground for levels 30 to 60 off the coast of Dustwallow Marsh, with 2 reputations that sell gear: Darkspear Raiders and Theramore Expeditionary Force. The Forever Open, a 1v1 duel tournament with a 100,000-dollar prize pool, runs on the beta on 17 and 18 October with level 30 Horde characters.

Blizzard published the Priest talents on 30 September, and ranks stay provisional (beta, 30 September 2026). Milestone numbers live on the hub and the calculator.

PvP tools from the 30 September kit. Every Priest now gets Fear Ward and Devouring Plague at level 20, whatever the race, and Shadow Word: Death at 32. Disc’s Silent Resolve now also shortens stuns, fears and silences on you. Holy’s Binding Heal (16 points) heals you and your target at once, and Prayer of Mending (31 points) jumps between allies as they take damage. Race spells changed too: Human Divine Grace instantly heals an ally under 50% health, Night Elf Elune’s Grace cuts the chance for melee and ranged attacks to hit you by 50%, Dwarf Chastise roots a Humanoid for 2 seconds, and Gnome Contingency Plan shields an ally who drops below 35%.

At 60 the beta read is Holy throughput plus optional Disc shields. Exact absorb numbers stay off this page until Blizzard posts them.

Holy honor pieces want +healing and survivability. Early quest greens only plug holes.

Bracket start. Quest healer slots before rank pieces. Early healer PvP pieces.

Climb weeks. Push mid then high brackets on the live PvP book while you heal focus fire. Blizzard’s 7 October PvP article: Honor buys a blue PvP set, Emboldened Seals upgrade it to epic slot by slot from Rank 8 (bracers, belt) to Rank 13 (chest, helm), and Rank 14 unlocks the epic weapons. The PvP trinket comes at Rank 2 and mounts at Rank 11. Since the 1 October beta build, gear costs about 50% more Honor and you can hold up to 25,000. Rank 14 offer.

After raids open. Take a raid healer drop only when +healing clearly wins. Raid carries.

Focus rooms want Engineering peels and Tailoring cloth. The live PvP Ultimate card is Engineering with Tailoring. Open a card to preselect Holy on the PvP ruleset.

See who is dying under focus.

• Enemy roster: who trains your healer or flag carrier.
• DR tracker: your Fear diminishing returns.
• Party frames with Renew: watch HoTs fall off under pressure.
• Arena frames: Blizzard has not announced arena for Forever, so leave them off for now.
