WoW Forever Holy Paladin PvE Guide

• October 15, 2026 patch notes. Salvation and Mass Salvation replace the Salvation blessings and no longer take a Blessing slot, and Revoke removes them from a party or raid member. Paladin is no longer an Alliance-only healer. Undead Paladin is 1 of the 6 new race and class combos Blizzard confirmed, so Horde raids bring Holy Paladins too. Blizzard’s 3-part class highlight series, finished on 6 October, shows the Paladin kit in its 2nd video.

Blizzard published the Forever Paladin Holy tree in full. Named talents include Voice of Truth, Reverence, Infusion of Light, Holy Shock at 21 points, Consecrated Ground and Light's Vigil. The level path below uses a provisional (beta, 22 September 2026) L30 snapshot (21/0/0 Holy). Exact spends at 40/50/60 stay provisional until L60 builds lock. The beta level cap rose from 20 to 30 on 1 October, so the path to Holy Shock can now be checked in play; 40 to 60 cannot yet.

Level 10. Holy Strike is already on the bar from level 6. Put early points into Divine Intellect and Healing Light. Do not split into Prot or Ret while leveling as Holy.

Level 20. Consecration is baseline for every Paladin. Keep stacking Holy: Spiritual Focus, Reverence and Purifying Power sit on the published tree.

Level 30. Provisional beta path: Divine Intellect 5, Healing Light 3, Spiritual Focus 2, Reverence 3, Purifying Power 2, Divine Favor, Illumination 4, Holy Shock. That is 21 points in Holy with empty Prot and Ret. The 15 October notes fix a bug that gave Holy Shock 50% more damage against enemies through Infusion of Light.

Level 40 and 50. Push toward Consecrated Ground and the deep Holy row. Light's Vigil is the group-heal setup talent; it was not in beta play, so treat its timing as provisional. Dual Specialization opens at level 40, so a Holy raid build and a Ret or Prot build can sit on 1 character.

Level 60. Finish Holy, then spend the Forever 16-point gold row. Blizzard has not confirmed a Classic 51-point total for Forever. Use the talent calculator page for shared milestone rules. Heal priority stays Flash of Light, Holy Light, Holy Shock and Lay on Hands. Spells cast at ranks far below your level get less benefit from healing power since the 1 October build.

PvE BiS for a Forever Holy Paladin is week-gated: quest blues 1st, then the 9 new dungeons, then the Dec 9 raids. Named slot lists stay provisional until loot tables lock.

Week 1. Route and quest blues. Stack Intellect, Spirit and crit for Illumination. Get week-1 gear done.

Weeks 2–3. Pre-raid dungeon set. Hall of Thanes through Shaper's Terrace. 1 run per dungeon for quests, then open world. Get the dungeon set done.

From 9 December. Barrow Deeps (10, 8 bosses), Hyjal Summit (20, 13 bosses) and Onyxia’s Lair (40). Korean and Taiwanese clients open the raids on 10 December local time, and Blizzard has not announced an unlock hour. A Holy Paladin still in the mid 50s that week misses the opening lockouts. Healing meters stay optional until Blizzard publishes the Forever combat log shape.

A quest-led 1 to 60 is about 150 hours of play. A Paladin sits near the class average on the published leveling board. Holy Strike at level 6 and Consecration at 20 cut the slow Classic open. Dungeon kill XP rose by about 20% with the 8 October build, and the 1 October beta build cut the bonus XP from dungeon quests by 50%. 1 clear per dungeon for quests, then open world.

2 speeds on the Starter Pack:

• 1 booster, 12 hours a day: about 14 days to 60 at $299 (regular $399 after the pre-order window).
• 2 boosters in shifts: about 7 days at $420 (regular $599).
