WoW Forever Holy Paladin PvP Guide

• October 15, 2026 patch notes. A bug that gave Holy Shock 50% more damage against enemies through Infusion of Light is fixed. Salvation and Mass Salvation replace the Salvation blessings and no longer take a Blessing slot, and Revoke removes them from a party or raid member. For the Shockadin, Champion of the Light now adds 10/20/30% of your Intellect as spell damage (was 20/40/60%). Full list: October 15 patch notes. On our tier list Holy holds B for PvP.

New on 7 October: Battle for the Darkspear Islands, a 15v15 battleground for levels 30 to 60 off the coast of Dustwallow Marsh. Teams hold 4 capture points and carry a central flag to a base they control; the 1st team to 2,000 points wins. Its 2 new reputations, Darkspear Raiders (Horde) and Theramore Expeditionary Force (Alliance), sell gear and give a tabard at Exalted.

Level 30 PvP tier list from the beta, October 2026: the Paladin class is S tier, with 62.8% of 877 duels won in the Forever Open qualifiers. Forever launches on 4 November. All 9 classes: level 30 PvP tier list.

The published Holy tree carries Voice of Truth (silence and interrupt immunity for a window), Holy Shock at 21 points and Light's Vigil. PvP spends below stay provisional (beta, 22 September 2026): no Forever PvP parse set exists yet.

Level 10 to 20. Stack Holy. Voice of Truth is the PvP milestone that keeps a cast off a silence. Keep Seal of Righteousness or Light up; Judgment no longer eats the seal.

Level 30. Same L30 Holy snapshot as PvE (21/0/0) is the provisional floor. Holy Shock at 10 seconds is the heal and nuke button in BGs. The 15 October notes fix a bug that gave Holy Shock 50% more damage against enemies through Infusion of Light. Since Blizzard's 8 October build notes, PvP critical strikes no longer carry a damage reduction, so Holy Shock crits land in full.

Level 40 to 60. Finish Holy for Light's Vigil setups in groups, then the Forever 16-point row. Do not invent a 51-point Classic total. Re-check this page when L60 PvP builds settle. Dual Specialization opens at level 40, so a Ret set can sit beside Holy on 1 character. For a Shockadin set, Champion of the Light now adds 10/20/30% of your Intellect as spell damage (was 20/40/60%).

Paladin still has no interrupt and no slow. Pair with a kick class in premades.

Holy PvP gear starts on heal stats: Intellect, Spirit and crit for Illumination, then stamina so you survive a focus. Rank 10 is week 7 and Rank 13 is week 9. Named slot lists stay provisional.

Week 1. Cloth and mail blues with Spirit. Skip Strength 2H drops. Get week-1 gear done.

Weeks 2–3. Flag-room healing set from the 9 dungeons while you still queue BGs. Get the dungeon set done.

Rank weeks. Blizzard’s 7 October PvP article sets the rewards. Honor buys a blue PvP set, and an Emboldened Seal upgrades each piece to epic once you reach its rank: bracers and belt at Rank 8, boots at 9, gloves at 10, legs and shoulders at 12, chest and helm at 13, epic weapons at 14. The PvP trinket comes at Rank 2. Since the 1 October beta build, PvP gear costs about 50% more Honor and the Honor cap is 25,000. Take the pieces that raise mana and crit. Skip Ret 2H. Get Rank 14 done.

From 9 December. Take healer loot from Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia into the same flag rooms. Raid carry options.

Profession picks for a Forever Holy Paladin in PvP come from the leveling offer engine: Ultimate is Engineering + Enchanting, then Balanced and Alternative. Live packages below cannot drift from checkout.

Open the Starter Pack on any tier to land on Paladin Holy with the PvP ruleset preselected.

Holy PvP addons are heal frames and click-casts. Skip threat meters.

• HealBot analog: incoming damage on the flag carrier; Forever port provisional.
• LoseControl: Voice of Truth window vs silence.

A Holy Paladin levels as a healer: Holy Shock at 30 and party heals. Skip Twist of Light. About 150 hours to 60 on the quest-led route.
