Blizzard published the Hunter kit on 30 September. Names here stay provisional (beta, 30 September 2026) because Blizzard says 
talents may keep changing in the beta. The pet families follow the same post.
Do not split BM and MM while leveling for 
raids. Pick the tree you want at 60.
Lone Wolf is a Marksmanship talent at 11 points that gives 20% more damage while you have no active pet. Ignore it for pet-tanked 5-mans.
Milestone math: calculator. Beast Mastery adds Summon Hawk at 16 points, and Marksmanship adds Sniper Shot at 31 points. Recheck after each beta build.
Ranged weapons into Hall of Thanes and raids
Hunter PvE is a ranged weapon every 5 levels. Nesingwary's rewritten rewards include the Master Hunter's Spellsword. Keep a bow or gun current anyway.
Week 1. Quest ranged. Week-1 bows.
Weeks 2 to 3. 
Hall of Thanes (13-18) through Shaper's Terrace (58-60). 1 run per dungeons for 
quests. Dungeon ranged.
From 9 December. Barrow Deeps (10), 
Hyjal Summit (20), 
Onyxia. Mid-50s that week misses lockouts. Raid carries.

Hunter pets cut the 150-hour board by about 8% versus the class average. 1 booster is $299 in about 14 days. 2 boosters in shifts is $420 in about 7 days. Normal realm in the builder. Route. Skip the grind.
