Level 10 to 30. Stay Frost. Polymorph is the kickoff. Ice Barrier identity if it survives the rewrite.
Level 40 to 60. Golds in Frost. Counterspell is the caster duel tool. Do not dump points into Fire crit for ranks. Recheck when the Mage article lands.
Gnome Eureka is the burst racial. Human Will to Survive clears stuns so you can Blink out.
Mage BiS by week (PvP)
Stamina cloth plus rank rewards. Rank 10 week 7, Rank 13 week 9.
Week 1. Honor greens with spell damage. Get week-1 gear done.
Weeks 2–3. Dungeon stamina pieces between BG sessions. Get the dungeon set done.
Rank weeks. Push Rank 10 then 13. Get Rank 14 done.
From 9 December. Mix rank rewards with 
Barrow Deeps /
