MW4 Warzone Map & Integration

Official announcement copy: beginning in Season 1, Warzone integrates MW4 content and seasonal progression. The official roadmap dates Season 1 for MW4 and Warzone on 6 November 2026. 23 October itself is the premium launch. From launch, every owner plays Campaign, Multiplayer, and DMZ. Warzone integration waits 14 days, until Season 1.

Before Season 1, Multiplayer adds Shipment on 27 October, the new Possession mode on 29 October and Infected on 30 October. Date page for the premium game: release date.

Reserve a Warzone product on the hub or on the Warzone nuke page if Champion’s Quest is the goal. Fulfilment starts when Season 1 is in the client on 6 November.

Campaign Early Access opened on Friday 16 October 2026 (PT) for digital Standard or Vault, with the Campaign only. DMZ Early Access opened on 20 October. Neither window opened Warzone, Multiplayer or Ranked.

Zodiac. New Resurgence map from Beenox. It sat in MW4’s 2nd public test weekend, 28 August through 1 September 2026. It is outside the 12 core 6v6 maps and DMZ. Official copy names a train as a tactical addition on Zodiac.

Hajin. DMZ map at launch that is also coming to Battle Royale in Season 1. Ground War Combat Outpost sat on Hajin in the test. Those slices were Imjin Farmland and Wolves Stadium. Those slices are Ground War. Neither is a Battle Royale map.

Season 1 brings Battle Royale to Hajin. Vondel returns in early 2027. No other Battle Royale map is named for 6 November. Do not reprint an older Warzone map as if it were the MW4 Season 1 drop.

The 12 core 6v6 maps stay in the premium game: 2026 maps. 6 of those names sat in the August test. The other 6 are new at launch on 23 October. DMZ: DMZ guide.

Movement systems at launch are listed as available across Campaign, Multiplayer, DMZ, and Warzone. That line is a movement lock.

Official announcement: Warzone on PlayStation 4 and last-gen Xbox is unplayable starting Season 1. New downloads stopped 4 June 2026. The last-gen store clock lands 25 June 2026. Support restates the same 3 stages. Digital storefronts drop the title on 4 June. The in-game store leaves last-gen on 25 June. Play ends when Season 1 opens on 6 November.

MW4 itself is off PlayStation 4 and last-gen Xbox. If your only box is last-gen, you miss the premium game on 23 October. You also lose Warzone when Season 1 opens. Those are 2 official sentences.

Current-gen and PC still need an Activision account. A phone number may be required. PC needs TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. Xbox Play Anywhere unlocks Series and Xbox on PC from 1 digital purchase. That is same-purchase access on current-gen. Last-gen consoles are outside it.

Progress on a linked Activision account carries to current-gen and PC. COD Points bought on last-gen stay inside that console family. Official Support lists that split. Plan the move before 6 November if you still sit on last-gen.

Official lock: a Camo Track in Warzone. 3 mastery camos in this mode. 9 total across Multiplayer, DMZ, and Warzone. The Warzone track is Parallax, then Damascus Reforged, then Empyros. All 3 were named on 19 October. Their challenges stay classified until Season 1. From Season 1, Warzone joins the camo grind that Multiplayer and DMZ already share. 9-track camo guide.

Vault cosmetics that wait for Warzone Season 01: Hostile Alliance and Special Forces operator packs. Signature weapon blueprints wait with them. BlackCell lists 1,100 CoD Points, 20 tier skips, and 100+ Battle Pass rewards. That grant starts when the Season 1 Battle Pass is in-game. A 23 October Warzone unlock needs that pass already live.

Vault Edition lists at $99.99 on the US Microsoft store. Standard lists at $69.99. Those prices buy the premium game. Season 1 opens 6 November whichever edition you hold. Editions table: release date.

Season 1 opens 6 November, 14 days after the premium 23 October launch and 21 days after Campaign Early Access on 16 October. That gives 2 weeks of Campaign, Multiplayer, and DMZ before Warzone integration.

The official Season 1 Warzone post lists the Zipline Launcher, the Grabber Drone, interactive objects, a new progression system and refined weapon handling. Movement, combat, visibility, audio and the HUD also changed since the Beta.

No Zombies mode is announced for MW4 Season 1. Official MW4 pillars stay Campaign, Multiplayer, and DMZ.

Official launch weapon count is 33. All 33 were named on 19 October. Killstreaks at launch are listed as 17. Those counts sit in the premium game. No Warzone loadout locks are published for Season 1.

Progress joins Warzone at Season 1. Warzone XP counts toward your MW4 player level from then. MW4 Level Unlocks reach Warzone with Season 1. A Warzone set of Daily Challenges arrives with it.

Own MW4 on a current-gen or PC store if you want the premium guns and camos in the integration. Play Hajin in DMZ if you want the map before it is also Battle Royale. Play Zodiac only if Resurgence is in the client. It sat in the 2nd public weekend. Resurgence has no launch-day date beyond that test.

Reserve Warzone work on the MW4 hub or a named Warzone row. Delivery starts when Season 1 opens on 6 November.

An Activision account is required. Preload opened on Wednesday 14 October at 9 PM PT on every platform. Picking Warzone in that install gets the current Warzone. The MW4 version arrives with Season 1 on 6 November. Plan the install on the account that will play Season 1 Warzone.
