Warzone Zodiac: the new Resurgence map of Season 1
Zodiac is the new Resurgence map of Call of Duty: Warzone. It went live with Season 1 on 6 November 2026 at midnight ET, which is 05:00 UTC.
The map is built around the DRC Advanced Systems drone factory in South Korea. Factory halls, research labs, rooftops, tunnels and a stretch of coast fill a compact space.
Beenox built Zodiac in close collaboration with Infinity Ward. Activision says the map builds on the team's work on Rebirth Island and Vondel.
Season 1 also moved Warzone onto Modern Warfare 4. Zodiac and the new Battle Royale map Hajin share its weapons and progression.
Here is how to get onto Zodiac today:
- Open Warzone. It is free to play on every platform it runs on.
- Pick Resurgence. Zodiac hosts Resurgence and Resurgence Casual.
- Try the limited modes. Rally Point and Loaded Resurgence both run on Zodiac.
- Learn the 10 POIs. The next section names each one.

Zodiac POIs: all 10 locations
Activision names 10 points of interest on Zodiac and describes 4 of them.

The other 6 are Solar, Old Mines, Dispatch, Depot, Sentinel and Cooling. They give squads more room for loot, ambushes and defensive spots.
Underground tunnels link parts of the map. A squad can move under a fight and come up behind it.
Zodiac modes: Resurgence, Rally Point and Loaded Resurgence

Rally Point is a practice ground. You complete contracts, fight hostile soldiers and chase your own elimination record.
Each Rally Point match has 1 nuke for sale. The 1st squad to buy it takes it. The mode also unlocks 1 weapon blueprint and 2 weapon camos.
Rebirth Island returns later in Season 1 and shares Resurgence with Zodiac from then on.
What is new on Zodiac: trains, tunnels and new gear
- Moving trains: the trains of Trackline make every fight near the railway less predictable.
- Tunnels: the routes under the facility open flanks the other squads cannot see.
- Fuel barrels: push them into place and set them off when an enemy squad walks past.
- Weapon Trade Station: trade the gun you hold for a random gun of higher rarity, with more attachments on it.
- Drop Kits: Insured, Loadout, Armored and Radar. Each kit gives a bonus on your next redeploy.
- Zipline Launcher: a new Field Upgrade that strings a zipline up to a rooftop or across a gap.
- Grabber Drone: a new Field Upgrade with a claw. It carries loot, fuel barrels and even a downed teammate.
- Elite Perks: a new Perk category you pick up during a match.
Guns, levels and camos for Zodiac
Season 1 reset the Player Level. Warzone, Multiplayer and DMZ all feed the same level and Prestige track.
