How to get bot lobbies in Warzone: the short answer
There are 3 ways to get a bot lobby in Warzone today.
- Queue Battle Royale Casual or Resurgence Casual. Both put real players and bots in the same match.
- Open a Private Match and fill it with bots. It runs Multiplayer modes on the rules you set.
- Book a hosted lobby. A PRO sets up private lobby matches for your weapon XP and camo progress.
At launch, Battle Royale Casual had about 4 bots for every real player.

Battle Royale Casual arrived with Verdansk in Black Ops 6 Season 03 in 2025. It is built as a step between the tutorial mode and the standard Battle Royale.
Casual keeps the full Battle Royale goal. The last squad standing wins.
Resurgence Casual runs on the small maps, where squads redeploy while a teammate is alive.

How Warzone matchmaking picks your lobby
Call of Duty matchmaking weighs 3 things in a fixed order. Connection comes 1st, time to match comes 2nd, and skill and performance come 3rd.

A server far from you raises your ping in every fight. Casual playlists and a hosted lobby give you bots on your own connection.
Private Match: add bots yourself
Private Match lets you invite friends, add bots and change the rules of Multiplayer modes. You can also play it solo to learn maps at your own pace.
- Open Private Match from the Multiplayer menu.
- Pick the mode and the map.
- Fill the open slots on each team with bots.
- Change the score limit, the time limit and the other rules you want.

What a hosted Warzone bot lobby order covers
- Private lobby matches, set up for you.
- Weapon XP and some Military XP.
- Progress on your camo challenges.
- Battle Pass progress.
- Progress updates in your order chat.
How an order runs:
- Pick the number of matches, from 1 to 40, and pay on the page.
- Your order chat opens. Send your Activision ID for the lobby invite.
- Piloted is the default, so a PRO plays the matches on your account. Self-play is the option to play them yourself.
- The matches run, and progress lands in your chat.
A kills lobby is a separate order. It adds kills and wins to your stats for a higher K/D.
Warzone bot lobbies after 6 November
Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 goes live at 00:00 ET on 6 November, 21:00 PT on 5 November. Warzone moves to Modern Warfare 4 that day, with Hajin and Zodiac as new maps.
Battle Royale Casual and Resurgence Casual stay in Warzone in Season 1. From 6 November, Battle Royale Casual runs on Hajin. Resurgence Casual runs on Zodiac. Verdansk and Rebirth Island join the Casual playlists later in Season 1.
