Warzone Ranked: Ranks, SR, Rules and Rewards

Warzone Ranked is Ranked Play: Resurgence. Squads climb 8 Skill Divisions by Skill Rating, or SR. Every player starts the season in Bronze I with 0 SR.

The divisions run Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Crimson, Iridescent and Top 250. Bronze to Crimson have 3 tiers each, from I up to III. Iridescent and Top 250 have no tiers.

Top 250 is a leaderboard above 10,000 SR. Its reward goes to the players who finish the season among the 250 highest. The player in 1st place also gets the Top 250 Champion animated Calling Card.

Black Ops 7 Season 06 is the live season until 5 November. Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 starts in Warzone on 6 November 2026.

SR comes from 3 things in each match: how long your squad outlasts other squads, eliminations, and in-match challenges. A kill by any squad member adds SR for the whole squad.

A kill on a player from a higher division pays more SR. A kill on a lower division pays less. A single match pays 150 SR at most.

The Deployment Fee

From Silver up, every match charges a Deployment Fee in SR at the start. Bronze pays no fee.

The fee is why an early exit hurts. Your squad pays it before the 1st circle, and placement and kills are the only way to earn it back.

SR targets on the Warzone Ranked boost move in 100 SR steps, from your current SR to the one you want.

Season 06 Ranked gave rewards in 2 tracks until it closed on 14 October. Division rewards unlocked when you reached a division for the 1st time. Placement rewards counted your Top Placements.

• Silver: a Calling Card.
• Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Crimson: a Weapon Camo and a Calling Card each.
• Iridescent: an Animated Weapon Camo and Calling Card.
• Top 250 at season end: an Animated Weapon Camo and Calling Card.
• Top 250 number 1 at season end: the Champion animated Calling Card.

Season 06 Ranked Play: Resurgence used the Call of Duty League settings and weapon restrictions. Every gun in a Ranked loadout had to come from Black Ops 7.

The open Warzone meta is Black Ops 7 guns at the top, so most public builds fit these rules. The current long range and close range picks, with full attachments, are in Warzone meta.

Black Ops 7 Season 06 started on 17 September 2026 and its Battle Pass ends on 5 November. Season 06 Ranked Play ran 3 weeks of normal play, then the Ranked Series week from 8 to 14 October, and it is closed now. Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 starts on Friday 6 November 2026 in MW4 and Warzone.

The next Warzone Ranked start day is not announced yet. The MW4 roadmap of 14 October and the Season 1 post of 28 October name no Ranked date.

Season 1 brings Battle Royale to Hajin and Resurgence to Zodiac. The next Ranked season opens with its own date, rules and rewards. This page changes the day Activision prints them.

MW4 multiplayer Ranked is a separate ladder with its own status in MW4 Ranked Play. Maps, last-gen and the camo track for Season 1 are in MW4 Warzone integration.

1. Play for placement 1st. Outlasting squads pays every match, and it covers the Deployment Fee from Silver up.
2. Take fights you can win against higher divisions. Those kills pay more SR than kills on lower divisions.
3. Trade kills as a squad. A teammate's elimination adds SR to your total too.
4. Build the Ranked loadout before you queue. 2 Black Ops 7 guns, 3 perks, no Alertness and no Tracker.
5. Count the cap. 150 SR is the most 1 match can pay, so a 900 SR step to Silver takes 6 strong matches at least.
6. Climb early in the season. Each division reward unlocks the 1st time you reach that division.
