R6 Siege ranks run in 8 tiers, low to high:

Champion. Every tier has 5 divisions. Division V is the entry step and division I is the top step.
That makes 40 ranks from Copper V to Champion I. Ranked 3.0 gave Champion its 5 divisions on 2 June 2026, so it now matches the rest of the ladder.

Highest rank in R6: Champion I
Champion I is the highest rank on the ladder. Champion was the top 0.4% of PC players in the last official table. Since 15 October 2026, the solo-queue Legend Division sits above it for players who qualify.

This is the latest official rank distribution for R6 Siege. It covers PC players with 10 or more ranked matches in Year 10 Season 4, published on 16 February 2026. It predates Ranked 3.0.
Ranked 3.0 at launch bunched many players into high ranks such as Emerald. Placements were then adjusted for a cleaner spread across ranks.

- Top 1%: inside Diamond. Champion alone was 0.4%, and Diamond and up was 2.4%.
- Top 5%: inside Emerald. Emerald and up was 7.4%.
- Top 10%: inside Platinum. Platinum and up was 14.4%.
Average rank in R6: Bronze
The middle R6 player sits in Bronze. Copper and Bronze held 56.5% of ranked PC players, and Silver and up was the top 43.6%. Gold already put you in the top 25.4%.
R6 rank system: how Ranked 3.0 works
Ranked 3.0 went live on 2 June 2026 with Operation System Override. Every R6 season since then runs on it.
- Rank Points (RP): you gain or lose RP after every match. The amount follows the match result and the rank balance of the 2 teams.
- Team strength: a win over a stronger team pays more RP. A loss to a lower-ranked team costs more RP.
- Matchmaking on RP: Ranked 3.0 dropped hidden MMR. Your visible RP is what matchmaking reads.
- Placements: each season starts with a soft reset and 5 placement matches. They pay extra RP, so you climb back toward last season's level faster.
- Demotion Shield: if you start a match above 0 RP, a loss that would drop you a division leaves you at 0 RP in that division.
- Squad limits: Copper to Emerald players squad within 3 full tiers of their own rank. Diamond and Champion players squad within 2 full tiers. Placement matches have no squad limits.
How to unlock Ranked in R6: Clearance Level 50
Ranked opens when your account has all 3 of these:
- Clearance Level 50.
- The Premium edition of Siege.
- 2-step verification with a phone number on your Ubisoft account.
R6 leveling takes a new account to Clearance Level 50 with a PRO, so Ranked opens sooner.
R6 ranked rewards: the Competitive Rewards track
Every ranked match adds points to the Competitive Rewards track: 2 for a win and 1 for a loss. Every 10 points unlocks the next reward on the track. Rank-based rewards follow the highest rank you reach in the season, even after a drop.

Since 15 October 2026, Ranked uses 15 maps. Kanal, Outback and Oregon joined, and Skyscraper and Theme Park left.

R6 Legend Division: the rank above Champion
The Legend Division opened on 15 October 2026 and runs to 1 December 2026, the end of Operation Split Fire. It is a solo-queue playlist above Champion, played on the Pro League map pool.
To get in, you need all of these:
- Champion rank this season.
- Platinum or higher last season.
- Clearance Level 200 or higher.
- Reputation level 3 or higher.
- On PC, security settings such as Secure Boot turned on.
- 2-step verification with an authenticator app on your Ubisoft account.
Legend players climb regional leaderboards and get a profile banner with their standing. The top 100 in each region earn an exclusive charm.
Champion this season is the entry rank. An R6 rank boost goes up to Champion I.
How to climb R6 ranks
- Treat placements as a head start. The 5 placement matches pay extra RP, and any squad can queue them. Play them with your best stack.
- Play for the match win. RP follows the result and the rank balance of the 2 teams.
- Squad near your rank. The limit is 3 full tiers up to Emerald and 2 from Diamond up.
- Use the Demotion Shield. A loss from above 0 RP stops at 0 RP in your division, so a bad night keeps your division.
- Learn the 3 new maps. Kanal, Outback and Oregon joined the ranked pool on 15 October.
