Destiny 2 Vault Cleaner: What to Keep After 9.7.0 (2026)

Update 9.7.0 launched on 9 June 2026. Monument of Triumph opened in the Tower courtyard. Raids and dungeons stay on the Destinations tab under the Raids and Dungeons node.

Seasons no longer rotate new perk columns on a live-service clock. The old reason to hoard a roll for a future season is gone. The loadout you fire today is the loadout you keep.

The 9.7.0 notes and the Monument of Triumph support page omit a vault slot number. A Director banner that says the vault is full is an account fact. Ask LFCarry which pile to cut.

9.7.0 also shipped vault visual fixes: empty-page counts, Vault Mode after entering the Character screen from the Tower Vault, and ultrawide vault-sorting. Those lines repair the UI. They do not print a cap.

Monument of Triumph is the celebration that opened with Update 9.7.0. Every raid and dungeon still launches from the Raids and Dungeons node. Keep the weapons and armor you still queue.

Keep these 4 piles:

• Exotics you still fire, including the catalyst on that exotic. The exotic catalysts page lists the catalysts LFCarry farms.
• Crafted weapons with a pattern you still level. A crafted column you already own replaces the random legendary copies of the same frame.
• Armor 3.0 you actually wear. Coda is the Prophecy 15-piece. Raid sets you still run. Current PvP armor. Moon set guide. Dreambane is a Moon collect for transmog if you still wear it.
• 1 PvP roll and 1 PvE roll on a weapon you still queue. 5 leftover barrels of the same frame sit in the shard pile.

A catalyst you have not finished still counts as keep. The exotic without the catalyst is the gun you will fire once the quest closes.

Armor 3.0 with a set bonus you run in raids, dungeons, or Trials stays. A 2-piece you wear beats a 5-piece you never equipped. Coda with Between Poles on Titan, Hunter, or Warlock stays if that polarity loop is still in the loadout.

Tell chat the class and the 2 weapons you queue. We cut around that loadout.

Shard the pile that exists for a season that no longer arrives.

• Sunset legendary dupes of a frame you already crafted.
• Armor 2.0 you replaced with Armor 3.0 on the same class.
• Random legendaries whose perk column you already own on a crafted copy.
• Transmog holds you already stored in the appearance locker.
• 5 leftover barrels of a weapon you never queue.

A full vault with 3 good rolls and 40 copies of the same pulse is a shard job. The 3 rolls stay. The 40 copies go.

If the Director says the vault is full, start on the shard list. Exotics and crafted patterns stay. The leftover barrels go.

Ask chat for a cut list if the account mixes 3 classes of Armor 2.0 with a live Armor 3.0 loadout. The $15 clean reads the vault and applies this keep-vs-shard split.
