This week's Grandmaster Vanguard Alert is Sunless Cell. The weekly challenge / Bonus Focus weapons were still unconfirmed shortly after reset — open the Alert preview in Fireteam Ops before you commit loadouts. Finish at B grade or better for the featured challenge drop plus Enhancement Prisms / Ascendant Shards.
Matchmaking stays off on the Alert node; bring a premade or a PRO clear.
Trials, Xûr, and Iron Banner
Trials of Osiris returns Friday, August 14 (daily reset) through Tuesday Aug 18. Kyber lists Bonus Focus Pool 2 for that weekend (Aisha's Care, Keen Thistle, Willful Hamartia, The Immortal, Burden of Guilt, Unwavering Duty, Cataphract GL3). Maps for Aug 14 were unconfirmed at time of writing.
Xûr returns Friday through Tuesday reset (Tower Bazaar is the usual permanent spot); Aug 14 inventory unconfirmed. Iron Banner is off — next projected Aug 25–Sep 1.
