For July 14–21, 2026, the Grandmaster Vanguard Alert is The Arms Dealer (EDZ / Cabal, ending on Bracus Zahn). Confirmed on Kyber’s Corner Jul 14–21 overview and Destiny Director’s Jul 14 reset card. Window closes at Tuesday, July 21, 17:00 UTC. Matchmaking is disabled on the Alert node — bring a premade fireteam and confirm Contest power delta in the activity preview before launch.

Clear the Alert at a B grade or better for the weekly Tier 5 masterworked challenge weapon Mint Retrograde, plus Enhancement Prisms ×5 and Ascendant Shards ×2 (Kyber / Destiny Director). The first weekly clear is the one that counts for the challenge weapon; repeats can still drop the featured gun at a reduced rate. Sweeping on multiple characters multiplies the materials payday.

Expect Arms Dealer choke points and heavy Champion density around Bracus Zahn. Prep anti-Barrier and anti-Overload coverage via weapon frames or matching subclass verbs; confirm Unstoppable if Extra Champions is on the card. Cabal shields and add waves punish single-element teams — spread Arc / Solar / Void across the fireteam and fight from cover you can retreat through.

Prior week (July 7–14): GM Alert was Exodus Crash with featured Adored (Arc Adaptive sniper), per Blueberries and the previous LFCarry rotation. That window closed at the July 14 reset when Arms Dealer / Mint Retrograde took over. Next Alert and featured weapon reveal at Tuesday, July 21, 17:00 UTC.
