Destiny 2 Iron Banner Schedule: Next Dates & Rewards

Iron Banner is off for the week of September 29 to October 6, 2026. The last window ran September 22 through September 29 and closed at the Tuesday reset, 17:00 UTC. Trials of Osiris is the weekend Crucible playlist while the Banner is dark.

Trials opens Friday, October 2, at 17:00 UTC and runs through the October 6 reset. Lord Saladin's focusing waits for the next Banner.

The next Iron Banner is October 20 through October 27, 2026. It opens at the Tuesday reset, 17:00 UTC, and it closes at the following Tuesday reset. That gap is the 4-week cadence from the September 22 start.

The window after that is November 17 through November 24, 2026. Then December 15 through December 22, 2026. Bungie can still move a date, so check Event Home when October 20 is close.

Iron Battalion is the armor set. The 2-piece bonus, Primary Honing, raises primary handling and reload, and it adds primary damage against non-boss combatants from the Weapons stat. The 4-piece bonus, Supercyclical, refunds Super energy from Super final blows when the Super ends.

The reward shop sells Iron Banner weapons and engrams while the event is up. Event Home has daily challenges plus 1 weekly challenge. Save vault space and Glimmer for focusing that week.

Iron Banner occupies 1 week every 4 weeks. The week runs from Tuesday reset to Tuesday reset. While it is live, Trials of Osiris is unavailable. When the week ends, Trials returns the following Friday.

Use the off weeks for Trials. The October 2 weekend is a full Trials window, with Bonus Focus Pool 1, before the October 20 Banner opens.
