Destiny 2 King's Fall Armor: Slots by Encounter

King's Fall armor is the raid set that drops inside King's Fall. The raid still lives on the Raids and Dungeons node after Update 9.7.0.

Each class has 1 exclusive set and 5 slots. Warlock names them Mouth of Ur, Grasp of Eir, Chasm of Yul, Path of Xol, and Bond of the Wormlore.

Titan names the same 5 slots War Numen's Crown, War Numen's Fist, War Numen's Chest, War Numen's Boots, and War Numen's Mark.

Hunter names them Darkhollow Mask, Darkhollow Grasps, Darkhollow Chiton, Darkhollow Treads, and Darkhollow Mantle.

The look is the Age of Triumph Hive plate. The drop rules are the encounter map below. Hunter, Titan, and Warlock keep their own piece names. The 5 slots line up across all 3 classes.

Bungie does not publish a per-slot drop chance. Plan around the slots that can drop, then farm the room that holds the piece you still need.

A full King's Fall raid on LFCarry is $25 on the live basic row. An armor-only editor sits at from $35 when you want the 5 pieces pinned. Name the empty slot in chat and we route the farm to that room.

Touch of Malice is the raid exotic. It is a different job from finishing the armor set. The raid page sells the exotic on the same clear if you want both.

King's Fall has an Opening chest plus 5 encounters. Each room can drop a fixed list of armor slots. The 5 rooms do not share 1 list.

The Opening chest can drop the class item: Bond of the Wormlore, War Numen's Mark, or Darkhollow Mantle.

Totems can drop the class item, Chasm of Yul, and Path of Xol. That is the 1st encounter. It is the widest armor room.

Warpriest can drop Grasp of Eir and Chasm of Yul.

Golgoroth can drop Mouth of Ur and Path of Xol.

Daughters of Oryx can drop Grasp of Eir and Chasm of Yul. That list matches Warpriest.

Oryx can drop Grasp of Eir and Mouth of Ur.

Mouth of Ur is the helm. It sits on Golgoroth and on Oryx. A helm farm can start in the 3rd room.

Bond of the Wormlore is the Warlock class item. It sits on Opening and on Totems. Hunter and Titan use the same 2 rooms for Darkhollow Mantle and War Numen's Mark.

Chasm of Yul is the chest. It sits on Totems, Warpriest, and Daughters. Oryx does not drop the chest. Golgoroth does not drop the chest.

Grasp of Eir sits on Warpriest, Daughters, and Oryx. Path of Xol sits on Totems and Golgoroth.

Every other King's Fall drop, encounter by encounter, is in the King's Fall loot table.

Wear 2 King's Fall pieces and you unlock Iron Sharpens Iron. Final blows on Guardians and powerful combatants generate additional ammo progress.

Wear 4 King's Fall pieces and you unlock Ascendant Escape. After a final blow on a powerful combatant, the next time your shields break you become invisible.

The 2-piece is the ammo engine. The 4-piece is the escape after a kill. Both bonuses sit on the armor item text. The set name on the item is Oryx's Memory.

You need 4 of the 5 slots for Ascendant Escape. Any 4 pieces count. The empty slot can be the helm, the class item, or a limb.

A 2-piece farm can close on Totems alone: class item plus chest, or class item plus legs, or chest plus legs.

A 4-piece farm needs more than 1 room. Totems plus Warpriest covers class, chest, legs, and arms. Golgoroth plus Oryx covers helm, legs, and arms. A full clear covers all 5 slots.

Official ammo-progress numbers stay off this page. The item text names the effect. It does not print a percent.

Pick the missing slot. Then run the encounter that lists it. A full clear still works. A checkpoint farm is faster when 1 slot is left.

Need Mouth of Ur? Run Golgoroth or Oryx. Need Bond of the Wormlore, War Numen's Mark, or Darkhollow Mantle? Run Opening or Totems.

Need Grasp of Eir? Stay in Warpriest, Daughters, and Oryx. Need Path of Xol or Darkhollow Treads? Stay in Totems and Golgoroth.

Need Chasm of Yul? Skip Golgoroth and Oryx. The chest is on Totems, Warpriest, and Daughters.

After Update 9.7.0 the set is also focusable at Suraya Hawthorne. Legacy Gear on Hawthorne sells a King's Fall piece for 10 Spoils of Conquest. Featured weeks drop Deepsight weapons or Tier 5 armor from encounters. Off-feature weeks drop a chance at Deepsight weapons and Tier 3 armor on Standard.

Each week 2 raids and 2 dungeons are featured. When King's Fall is featured, farm the room you still need. When it is off the rotator, Hawthorne plus a checkpoint still close a hole.
