Touch of Malice catalyst: 3 hidden plates
The catalyst sits behind a secret puzzle inside King's Fall. You need Touch of Malice before you start.
- Equip Touch of Malice. The puzzle needs a player holding it.
- Find the 3 hidden plates. They sit along the raid route. The last one is near the end of the Transept.
- Stand on each plate. The plates open a secret room that players call the basketball court.
- Claim the catalyst there. Then get 700 kills with Touch of Malice to unlock it.
The catalyst adds Precision Instrument. Sustained damage raises your precision damage.

What Touch of Malice does: a scout rifle that heals
Touch of Malice is an Exotic Kinetic scout rifle that uses Primary ammo.
- Touch of Malice (intrinsic). The last round in the magazine deals bonus damage and drains some of your health. Then the round regenerates.
- Fast kills heal you. Defeating powerful targets or several targets quickly restores health.
Charged with Blight. Precision hits charge a ball of Darkness. Fire it to blind targets and inflict corruption.
