How to get Outbreak Perfected: clear Zero Hour
Outbreak Perfected drops from Zero Hour. The mission sits in Pinnacle Ops in the Portal, with the other Exotic missions.
- Launch Zero Hour. Pick it in Pinnacle Ops. Any difficulty works for the 1st drop.
- Fight through the Old Tower. House Salvation agents are trying to steal a weapon from its vault, and a timer runs from the start.
- Cross the vents and the jumping rooms. The route climbs through the old ventilation system.
- Survive the maze of TR3-VR. The frame guards a large maze room, and 4 switches open its back door.
- Win the last fight in the Cryptarch vault. Outbreak Perfected drops with Deepsight when the mission ends.

Outbreak Perfected catalyst and traits: run Master
The catalyst is 
Disease Vector. It raises nanite damage, and enemies that die with nanites on them spawn more nanites.
- Run Zero Hour on Master or higher. Launch it from Pinnacle Ops. Master clears unlock the catalyst and the extra crafting options.
- Solve the 3 vault puzzles. Each one opens a higher level of The Corruption Spreads for crafting.
- Reshape the rifle. Outbreak Perfected is craftable, so you slot Disease Vector and the new traits when you reshape it.

What Outbreak Perfected does: SIVA nanites
Outbreak Perfected is an Exotic Kinetic pulse rifle that uses Primary ammo.
- The Corruption Spreads (intrinsic). Rapid hits and precision kills create SIVA nanite swarms that attack nearby enemies.
Parasitism. The rifle deals more damage to an enemy the more nanites attach to it.- Outlaw. Precision kills greatly cut the reload time.

Zero Hour kept its place in Pinnacle Ops when Update 9.7.0 brought Monument of Triumph on 9 June 2026. The Master runs still carry the catalyst and the crafting upgrades.
