Destiny 2 Vex Mythoclast Catalyst: VoG Puzzle + Calculated Balance (2026)

Blueberries — Vex Mythoclast + Catalyst, published Jun 1, 2025 (modified Jun 2, 2025; scraped Aug 30, 2026): the catalyst comes from Vault of Glass, not from the same random drop as the gun. “Hidden inside the Vault of Glass are five plates, similar to those found in the final two raid encounters. You’ll need to activate them in order of their appearance by stepping on them with Vex Mythoclast equipped, then shooting an increasing amount of oracles in the correct order.”

We did not re-walk the five plates tonight. A 2026 encounter-by-encounter map from a second publisher = missing-evidence — we keep Blueberries’ sentence and do not invent plate locations.

Blueberries (Jun 1, 2025): Calculated Balance — “While in full auto mode, final blows with this weapon grant bonus damage, accuracy, and stability for a short duration.” Grindout (Jul 7, 2026) names the same perk and files Vex under rework / other catalyst changes. Our already-shipped catalysts page notes Grindout’s line that Calculated Balance now also activates from sustained damage — that clause is Grindout’s, dated Jul 7, 2026. Blueberries’ Jun 2025 sentence does not include it. We print both. We do not average them into one tooltip.
