Diablo 4 Glyphs: Max Level 150, Radius and How to Level Them in the Pit

Season of Hell's Legacy, Season 15, began on 15 September 2026 with patch 3.2.1. Patch 3.2.4 went live on 28 October 2026. Season 16 has no start date yet.

Glyphs are Paragon items. You socket them into the glyph socket of a Paragon board. Each board has 1 socket, and you can run up to 5 boards: the starting board plus 4 more. So a character uses up to 5 glyphs at once.

A glyph powers up the Paragon nodes inside its radius, or takes power from them. Its level sets that radius and unlocks its Legendary bonus.

Glyphs drop from level 70. Dungeons and the other endgame activities drop them, so you find them as you play the endgame.

Every class has its own glyph list: Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, Rogue, Sorcerer, Spiritborn and Warlock. Each class levels its glyphs the same way, in the Pit.

A new glyph starts at level 1 as a Rare glyph. Slot the glyphs your build names, then level them.

The Pit of the Artificers is where glyphs level. A timed clear pays upgrade attempts that you spend on the glyphs you pick.

1. Pick a Pit level at least 10 above the glyph you want to level.
2. Clear the Pit and kill its boss before the timer runs out.
3. Take your 3 upgrade attempts.
4. Take 1 more attempt if you did not die in the run.
5. Spend each attempt on a glyph from your build.

The gap between the Pit level and the glyph level sets the result. At 10 levels above, every attempt works. Below that, the chance drops.

A clear with no deaths 20 levels above a glyph gives 4 attempts of 2 levels each. That is 8 glyph levels from 1 run.

The radius counts Paragon nodes from the glyph socket. Every glyph starts at radius 3. Level 25 raises it to 4.

At level 50, a glyph stops until you pay its Legendary upgrade in Gem Fragments. The upgrade takes it to level 51. There it becomes a Legendary glyph, gains its Legendary bonus and reaches radius 5, the largest radius.

Most glyphs also have an extra bonus. It unlocks when the allocated nodes inside the radius reach the attribute total the glyph names. Pick the socket with the most of that attribute in range.

Level the glyphs your build uses before any others. A glyph in a socket adds power, and a glyph in your bag adds nothing.

Push each of them to level 51 early. That step adds the Legendary bonus and radius 5, the biggest jump on the way to 150. After that, every level adds a little more, so the climb to 150 is the long tail.
