600+ new recipes across every level
Blizzard gave trade skills what it calls a massive amount of love. The goal is stated plainly: you should feel the impact of your profession choice at low levels, and want to keep leveling it as you go. Many existing recipes were overhauled as well.
Blizzard has not published the recipe list or the split per profession. It has not announced a new profession. It also plans to keep adding recipes, materials and crafted items as the game evolves.
Your profession at 300 on a level 60 character
Order the profession on its own, or add up to 2 professions to a 1 to 60 order. Full refund before the 1st session.

WoW Forever Power Leveling & Gearing
Crafted food gives XP
Cooking and food got a substantial overhaul. Blizzard’s line: you will always want to go into battle well prepared and well fed. Blizzard has not published the size of the bonus.
For a leveler this is the change that touches every hour of the 1 to 60. The XP curve is the same as Classic, so a food buff that runs all session is the closest thing to a leveling buff the game offers.
Cooking stops being optional for anyone in a hurry.
Blueprints drop from dungeon bosses

The 1st camping object of each profession unlocks at skill 20. Advanced camping objects use
Blueprint recipes that
dungeon bosses drop. How the
campfire works, and which object each profession places, is on the camping guide.
That gates the top of every profession behind group content. Blizzard’s itemization pass made every unique dungeon boss item blue and added hundreds of new drops, and the Blueprints sit in those loot tables. The 9 new dungeons run from the
Hall of Thanes at 13 to 18 to Shaper’s Terrace at 58 to 60, so the last Blueprints are
level 60 drops.
2 Legacy perks for crafters
The Legacy system pays account-wide perks for leveling. 1 of its 3 trees is named Professions. Points are earned account-wide and spent per character, up to 16 at launch. Reaching a skill milestone is 1 of Blizzard’s own examples of a Legacy challenge, so leveling a profession funds the pool that pays for the gathering perk on your next alt.
Hardcore characters start without perks earned on other rulesets. Blizzard has not published the point costs of the 2 crafter perks.
Why the best of it waits for 60
The skill-20 unlock is a low-level reward. Everything above it is an endgame reward. The last
Blueprints drop in the level 55 to 60
dungeons. The
raid consumables for 9 December are crafted by 60s for 60s. A profession capped on a level 35 character has nothing to craft that anyone wants yet.
1 to 60 is about 150 hours of play. Played alone at 3 hours a night, that is 60 around 24 December, 2 weeks after the raids open. With a booster on the character from launch day the profession session runs after it on a max-level character, with the nodes and dungeons open. Both orders sit in 1 chat and the same team sequences them.
