What is PvE Prestige in Tarkov?
PvE Prestige lets a high-level PvE Zone character start Tarkov again in exchange for permanent rewards. It arrived with patch 1.2.0.0 on 6 October 2026 and has 6 levels.
- Each level resets your profile progression in the PvE Zone only.
- Your PvP character and your EFT: Arena progress stay as they are.
Prestige 1 in PvE asks for less than Prestige 1 in PvP.- Profiles that have never reset since the 1.0 release also unlock the release content, the storyline, the Icebreaker chapter and all future events.
The rules mirror PvP Prestige. The difference is the reward list, where several items carry over to every game mode.
PvE Prestige requirements for all 6 levels
Prestige 1 in PvE needs only PMC level 15 and 5 million roubles in your stash. It has no task, skill or Hideout gate. 
Prestige 2 adds level 25, 10 million roubles, the New Beginning task, the Tour story chapter, 3 skills and 3 Hideout modules.

New Beginning is the Prestige task for each level. Levels 3 to 6 follow the PvP table, since Battlestate set PvE requirements close to PvP.

PvE Prestige rewards: what works in every mode
Every PvE Prestige level pays out

Apparel and character looks match the PvP Prestige rewards. Earned in PvE, they stay on your PvE character. Many other Prestige rewards also stay with your PvE character for good.
TarCoin has a 2nd source in 1.2.0.0: the EXFIL Brothers program pays an Operator up to 1200 TarCoins per invited Candidate.
What you keep when you Prestige in PvE
- Some gear crosses over in a transfer window you fill before the reset.
- Character skills and weapon mastery carry over in part, up to 50%. The share grows with your Prestige level.
- Prestige rewards stay with you for good.
- EFT: Arena and your PvP character see no change.

How to Prestige in Tarkov PvE, step by step
- Reach the PMC level for your next Prestige and keep the roubles in your stash.
- Finish New Beginning and the other tasks and story chapters for that level.
- From Prestige 2, train Strength, Endurance and Charisma and build the listed Hideout modules.
- Open the character screen and its Prestige tab. It shows the requirements for your next level.
- Pick the gear for the transfer window, then confirm. Your PvE profile starts over with the rewards attached.
