Diablo 4 Cow Level: How to Get the Bovine Armor Set

Season 15, Season of Hell's Legacy, has run since 15 September 2026, when patch 3.2.1 went live. Patch 3.2.4 is the live patch, out since 28 October 2026.

Players found the Secret Cow Level soon after Lord of Hatred launched. Season 15 added the Bovine Sanctum, its boss Moophisto and the Bovine armor set. The set is cosmetic, so it changes your look and none of your stats.

The chest is the slow piece. Moophisto only drops it now and then. The other 4 pieces come from a single trip each.

The Cow King, the cow island and the Prime Rib all sit behind the Secret Cow Level. You open it with 3 relics from 3 older cow quest chains.

1. Transmute the 3 relics. The Horadric Cube turns them into the Trophy of the Faithful.
2. Open the Trophy of the Faithful. It holds the Torn Page, the Moo emote and the Moo title.
3. Wait for a Tuesday. The cow portal opens only on Tuesdays, in your own time zone.
4. Choose Greed at the Holy Cedar tablets. They stand at the gate near Kyovashad.
5. Travel to the cow island and open the portal. The Secret Cow Level and the Cow King wait behind it.

A friend with the Moo emote can skip most of this for you. They use the emote on you, and a Moo option appears at the Holy Cedar tablets. That shortcut opens the fight only, without the emote and the title.

1. Kill the Cow King until you hold 5 Prime Rib. He drops them inside the Secret Cow Level.
2. Go to the Altar of the Heifer. It stands east of the Tyrael's Encampment waypoint on Skovos.
3. Make an offering. The altar sends you to the Bovine Sanctum.
4. Take the waypoint in the Sanctum. It saves you the walk to the altar next time.
5. Walk north to the arena. Its own Altar of the Heifer takes 5 Prime Rib and summons Moophisto, the Divine Bovine.

The Sanctum is a small cow town. A Cow Blacksmith, a Cow Occultist and a Cow Jeweler work there.

Every summon costs 5 more Prime Rib. Farm the Cow King in batches before you start the chest run.

Head of the Bovine (helm)

Look for the Diablo Hellfire Outskirts of Tristram Waking Nightmare. It spawns as a rift in the open world. Inside, talk to The Complete Nut until he fights you. Beat the cows he sends, and he drops the helm.

Foreshanks of the Bovine (gloves)

Go to Old Tristram and walk to the top of the map. A cow stands behind the old cathedral. Pet it, and it drops the gloves. Old Tristram opens through Deckard's Journals, as the Hellfire Torch guide shows.

Hooves of the Bovine (boots)

Leave the dungeon while you stand in the Secret Cow Level. The game drops you on the cow island. Fish from the dock on the south side until the boots come up.

Sirloin of the Bovine (pants)

Kill the Cow King in the Secret Cow Level. He drops the pants along with your Prime Rib.

Brisket of the Bovine (chest)

Kill Moophisto in the Bovine Sanctum. The chest is a rare drop, so plan on many runs.

Short on time? A PRO can get the whole Bovine set on your account, or only the pieces you still lack.

• Diablo 4 Hellfire Torch: the other big secret of Season 15.
• Diablo 4 Season 15 leveling: a fresh seasonal character from 1 to 70.
• Diablo 4 Mythic Uniques: the chase items and where they drop.
• Diablo 4 best builds: the S-tier builds of Season 15.

Want the cows done for you? A PRO gets the Bovine armor set on your account, or brings you a Hellfire Torch for your Talisman.
