How to Get the Telesto Catalyst in Destiny 2

The Telesto catalyst is a random drop. It comes from Lost Sector completions. Xûr can also list it in his Strange Gear Offers, for Strange Coins.

1. Own Telesto. The catalyst only works once the fusion rifle is in your collection.
2. Run Lost Sectors on Expert or Master. Each completion can drop the Telesto catalyst at random.
3. Check Xûr. His Strange Gear Offers can carry the catalyst. Pay in Strange Coins.
4. Insert the catalyst and get 300 kills. The masterwork unlocks after 300 combatants defeated with Telesto.

• Deeper Pockets. The magazine grows from 4 to 7 rounds. The ammo reserves grow as well.
• Harbinger Seethe. Trigger Harbinger's Pulse 3 times. Then press the alternate weapon action. Your next direct hit calls down a rain of Telesto bolts.

Harbinger's Pulse is the rifle's own trait. Multikills with Void damage reload Telesto from reserves. Each trigger counts toward Harbinger Seethe.

Unplanned Reprieve is the intrinsic. Fusion projectiles attach to targets. Then they detonate with a delayed Void blast.

Socket the catalyst into Telesto before your 1st kill. From then on, each combatant Telesto defeats adds 1 to the count of 300.

• Pick dense rooms. Packs of weak enemies give the most kills per volley.
• Chain Void multikills. Harbinger's Pulse reloads Telesto from reserves, so the next volley is ready.
• Carry special ammo. Telesto is a special-ammo fusion rifle. Pick up every special brick you see.

A Pro can run the 300 kills for you. The masterwork is an option on the catalyst page.

Telesto is an Exotic Void fusion rifle. It comes from Exotic engrams and from rare world drops.

Xûr's Strange Gear Offers can carry the rifle itself, for Strange Coins. The Exotic Archive at the Tower does not sell Telesto.

A Pro can farm Exotic engrams on your account. Telesto is one of the Exotics those engrams can hold.
