Apex Legends Heirlooms: Every Set, Heirloom Shards and the 500 Pack Rule

Heirlooms are Mythic melee weapon skins. Most come as a set with a banner pose or frame, a quip and the melee skin. A kill with an heirloom shows its name in the kill feed.

There are 3 ways to get an heirloom.

A new heirloom set usually arrives once a season in a Collection Event. After the event ends, the set moves to the Mythic Store for 150 Heirloom Shards.

How to get Heirloom Shards

Every Apex Pack has a 0.045% chance to drop 150 Heirloom Shards. A pack that drops shards is not used up.

Open 499 packs with no shards and pack 500 drops them.

Shards stop dropping once you own every heirloom set in the Mythic Store.

Heirloom tracker: counting to 500 packs

An heirloom tracker counts the Apex Packs you opened since your last shards. The count restarts each time shards drop. The guarantee lands on pack 500 of that count.

Mad Maggie, Newcastle, Vantage, Catalyst, Ballistic and Conduit have no heirloom set yet.

Universal heirlooms

A universal heirloom is a Mythic melee skin that every Legend can use.

Season 30, Marked, is in Split 2 since 15 September 2026. The Blood Pact event runs from 13 October to 3 November 2026 on a haunted Kings Canyon.

The Blood Pact store sells Legend skins for Sparrow and Alter, an R-99 skin and Beast and Demon bundles. Heirloom Shards from Apex Packs still work all event long.

Season 31 starts on 3 November 2026. The next heirloom set is not announced yet.

Check the Mythic Store before you open packs. Your 150 shards buy any set in the store.
