FAQ
What are titles/seals in Destiny 2?
Seals are groups of 8–24 triumph objectives organized around an activity, expansion, or game mode. Completing all required triumphs earns a Title — a cosmetic name displayed under your character’s name in-game. Titles are the ultimate prestige achievement in Destiny 2. You can display one title at a time. Each title also increases your Triumph Score.
What is Conqueror and how much does it cost?
Conqueror is the premier PvE endgame title. Under the current Portal Conquest system it requires completing activities across three difficulty tiers — Expert Conquests, Master Conquests and Grandmaster Vanguard Alerts — within a single season, and it can be gilded each season for a gold border. We sell it in one place at one price: $35, on the Nightfall & Grandmaster page. It used to be listed here at $89 as well, which is why you may have seen two figures; that duplicate was removed on 2026-07-28.
What is gilding and how does it work?
Certain titles can be “gilded” each season by completing additional objectives. Gilding adds a gold border and an incrementing counter showing how many times you’ve gilded. Gildable titles: Conqueror, Flawless, Dredgen, Deadeye, Glorious, Iron Lord, and event titles like Champ and Sharpshooter. Gilded titles reset each season — you must re-gild to maintain the gold status.
Which titles are the hardest to earn?
Difficulty ranking: EXTREME — Flawless (Trials PvP skill), Disciple-Slayer/Rivensbane/Kingslayer (raid flawless + challenges). HARD — Iconoclast, Atemporal, Gilded Conqueror, Glorious. MODERATE — Conqueror base, Deadeye, Iron Lord, most raid/dungeon titles. EASY — Dredgen, Splintered, seasonal titles. TRIVIAL — Champ, Ghost Writer, Star Baker (event titles).
What raid titles are available?
10 raid titles as of March 2026: Atemporal (Desert Perpetual), Iconoclast (Salvation’s Edge), Kingslayer (King’s Fall), Disciple-Slayer (Vow of the Disciple), Dream Warrior (Root of Nightmares), Fatebreaker (Vault of Glass), Swordbearer (Crota’s End), Rivensbane (Last Wish), Descendant (Deep Stone Crypt), Enlightened (Garden of Salvation). Each requires flawless completion + all challenges + collections.
What new titles were added in Edge of Fate / Renegades?
Edge of Fate (July 2025): Fated Weapon (expansion), Atemporal (Desert Perpetual raid), Delver (Sundered Doctrine dungeon). Renegades (Dec 2025): Renegade (expansion), Undertaker (Invasions), Praxic (Equilibrium dungeon), Eternal (seasonal), Sharpshooter (Arms Week event). Each has unique triumph sets ranging from campaign completion to specific activity challenges.
Are some titles unobtainable?
Yes. 14+ titles are retired/archived: Unbroken (legacy Crucible), Chronicler, Wayfarer, MMXX, MMXXI, Risen, Chosen, Splicer, Shadow, Reckoner, Blacksmith, Warden, and Undying. These were tied to removed content or past seasons. If you missed them, they cannot be earned anymore.
How long does it take to complete a title?
Event titles (Champ, Sharpshooter): 5–15 hours. Dungeon titles (Delver, Ghoul): 10–25 hours. Expansion titles (Renegade, Fated Weapon): 15–40 hours. Raid titles (Rivensbane, Disciple-Slayer): 20–40+ hours across multiple weeks. Conqueror: 12–20 hours (6 GMs). Flawless: 5–10 hours (PvP skill-dependent). Dredgen/Deadeye: 25–40 hours (grind-heavy).
How much does each Destiny 2 title cost?
Named seals are priced individually rather than at one blanket rate, because a solo flawless dungeon and a seven-win Trials card are not the same job. Raid seals: Atemporal $160, Iconoclast $140, Fatebreaker $140, Dream Warrior $120, Rivensbane $150, Swordbearer $150, Disciple-Slayer $190, Kingslayer $160, Enlightened $190, Descendant $140. Dungeon seals: Praxic $72, Unleashed $59, Delver $39, Wrathbearer $39, Discerptor $35, Ghoul $29, Wanted $105. Endgame seals: Godsbane $130, Conqueror $45, Glorious $149, Flawless $59. Anything not on that list — legacy, event and seasonal seals — is $39 from this page, and every named seal above is bought on its own page rather than here.
Which title should I buy first if I only want one?
Flawless at $59 is the most visible for the money: it comes from a 7-0 Trials of Osiris card, so other players read it as a PvP credential the moment they see it. If you want the rarest instead, Rivensbane at $150 is the Last Wish seal — it needs a flawless run, every challenge, the Wish Wall triumphs and the full collection, and very few accounts carry it. For pure PvE prestige the answer is Godsbane at $130, which requires 11 of the 12 Pantheon 2.0 triumphs across the whole reprised boss gauntlet. Conqueror at $45 is the one to take if you want a gold-gildable title you can keep re-earning every season.
What does a raid seal actually require?
Every raid seal has the same three-part shape and that is what makes them expensive: a flawless completion with zero deaths across all encounters, every weekly and Master challenge, and the full weapon and armour collection from that raid. Disciple-Slayer needs the flawless run across all four Vow of the Disciple encounters plus the weekly challenges and collections; Iconoclast adds five Master challenges, subclass-specific runs and Unified Front on top of the flawless; Atemporal spans 12 triumphs across Normal, Epic, feats and a flawless clear. The flawless requirement is why a raid seal takes multiple weekly resets rather than one weekend — collections are reset-gated even when the fireteam is not the bottleneck.
Do I have to buy the whole seal, or can I get just the hard part?
You can buy either. Each named seal above is a complete package, but if you already have most of the triumphs and only the flawless run or the last challenge is blocking you, the builder on this page prices the remaining work on its own instead of charging you for a completion you already have. Gilding is also sold separately — gilding is a second completion that resets every season, so a base seal and a gilded seal are two different orders, which is why the gilding bundle is priced above the base seals rather than as a discount on them.
