Palworld Pals Tier List: Best Pals in Version 1.0.5

Palworld left Early Access with version 1.0 on 10 July 2026. Version 1.0.5 is the live build. It went out on 15 September 2026. The next update, Palworld: Side by Side, comes in winter 2026.

27 Pals carry a letter on 4 boards: combat, party support, base work and mounts. 13 Pals reach S on at least 1 board. Each board answers a different job, so 1 Pal can sit at S on 1 board and lower on another.

Bellanoir Libero, Frostallion and Jormuntide Ignis lead combat. Orserk, Celesdir Noct and Solenne lead party support. Solenne, Knocklem Ignis and Renjishi lead base work. Jetragon, Hartalis, Necromus and Neptilius lead the mounts.

Catch the S picks 1st. Then level them for your party and your base.

These Pals fight beside you. The board grades raw damage, boss damage and how well the Pal fits a party.

Pal	Letter	Why it ranks
Bellanoir Libero	S	A Dark Pal built for raid bosses. Its partner skill fires Nightmare Bloom at your target.
Frostallion	S	An Ice legendary that also flies. It is the pick against Dragon targets.
Jormuntide Ignis	S	A Dragon and Fire Pal. Its partner skill raises your party's damage on Burned enemies. It also takes no lava damage.
Xenolord	A	A Dark and Dragon Pal. Its attacks hit whole groups.
Jetragon	A	A Dragon legendary built for boss damage. It doubles as the fastest flyer.

Knocklem Ignis, Eidrolon Ignis and Blazamut Ryu sit in B. Each one has a single read at the top so far.

Best party for raids and towers

Pair Renjishi with Jormuntide Ignis. Renjishi's partner skill makes your attacks inflict Burn. Jormuntide Ignis then raises the party's damage on Burned enemies.

Support Pals win fights through their partner skill. They boost you or the Pal that fights beside you.

Orserk	S	A Dragon and Electric Pal. Each bullet you land raises the Attack and Defense of the Pal fighting beside you.
Celesdir Noct	S	It raises the Attack of the Pal fighting beside you. That Pal slowly loses Health while the boost runs.
Solenne	S	It raises your own Attack when every Pal in your party is a different species.
Jormuntide	A	It raises your damage on Soaked enemies. It also carries you across water.

Silvegis and Prixter sit in B with 1 read each.

Best Electric Pal

Orserk is the Electric pick on 2 boards. It buffs the Pal beside you in a fight. At base it runs Electricity at level 8 and powers your machines.

Put the Pal with the highest level of a suitability on that job. 1 strong worker per job beats 1 Pal that does a little of everything.

Knocklem Ignis	S	Mining and transport in 1 Pal, so the ore reaches your chests.
Renjishi	S	Kindling at level 8, the top of the kindling board.
Jormuntide Ignis	S	Kindling at level 7 for furnaces and cooking.
Orserk	S	Electricity at level 8 keeps late factories running.
Dandilord	S	Planting at level 8 for your crop fields.
Anubis	A	Crafting at the workbench. It was the top crafter before Solenne.

Sekhmet and Bastigor sit in B with 1 read each.

Mounts are graded on travel speed. Combat on the mount breaks ties.

Jetragon	S	A flying mount and the fastest flyer on the speed table.
Hartalis	S	A ground mount and the fastest runner on the speed table.
Necromus	S	A ground mount at S on both mount reads. It fights beside Paladius as a pair.
Neptilius	S	A water mount and the fastest swimmer on the speed table.
Frostallion Noct	A	A flying mount that turns your attacks Dark while you ride.
Paladius	A	A ground mount whose Spear Thrust calls Necromus into the fight.

Shaolong, Eidrolon and Panthalus sit in B as flyers with 1 read each.
