Fastest Way to Level Up in Palworld 1.0: EXP Guide to Level 80

The fastest way to level up in Palworld is to catch 5 of every Pal species you meet. Each finished Capture Bonus pays EXP. Version 1.0.5 is live. The level cap is 80.

1. Finish a Capture Bonus on every species. Since 1.0, 5 catches of the same Pal complete its Capture Bonus. The 5th catch also gives you a Mimog Effigy.
2. Collect the 4 Relaxaurus Effigies early. Offer them at a Statue of Power to raise the EXP you gain. Their coordinates are in the next section.
3. Fight Alpha Pals and tower bosses. They pay large amounts of EXP. Defeat or catch every Alpha on your route.
4. Clear dungeons and explore. Every fight in a dungeon pays EXP. Each new area and fast travel statue you find pays EXP too.
5. Eat an EXP dish before a long session. 4 dishes raise your EXP gain for a while.
6. Raise the EXP rate on your own world. The EXP rate in world settings multiplies every source above.

Offer the effigies at a Statue of Power to raise the EXP you gain. Build a Statue of Power at your base so you can offer them there.

The Lifmunk Effigy is a different collectible. It raises your capture power.

The Capture Bonus drives fast leveling. Catch 5 Pals of the same species and its Capture Bonus completes. Version 1.0 cut the catches needed down to 5.

The 5th catch also puts a Mimog Effigy in your inventory.

Alpha Pals and tower bosses pay large amounts of EXP. The Sakurajima Tower, the Feybreak Tower and the Azure Covenant Tower each have their own guide.

Dungeons give you more Pals to catch in 1 run. Every fight inside pays EXP.

• Bring them into fights. Pals in your party earn EXP from your fights and catches.
• Use Training Manuals. A Training Manual gives a Pal EXP directly. The XL manual gives 100,000 EXP.
• Give every base Pal a job. Base Pals earn EXP from their work. A Pal with nothing to do earns none.
• Cook an EXP dish. The 4 dishes in the table raise EXP gain for a while.
