The gate: Afterlife on 33, then 10 Elites
Nebula opens after
Afterlife on every weapon in the game. The in-game challenge text still prints Unlock 33 Afterlife camos, then 10 Elite Zombie Eliminations on that gun.
The 33 count is the launch roster. New DLC guns join the same chain. Finish Afterlife on the live roster, then get 10 Elite kills with the weapon you want in Nebula.
| Step | What opens it | The challenge |
|---|---|---|
Mystic Gold | Both Specials on that gun | 10 kills rapidly, 15 times. Launchers: 3 kills in a single shot, 15 times. |
Opal | Mystic Gold on every gun in that category | 30 Special Zombie eliminations. |
| Afterlife | Opal on 33 guns | 20 or more consecutive zombie kills, 10 times, without taking damage. |
| Nebula | Afterlife on 33 guns | 10 Elite Zombie eliminations. |
Specials and Military sit on the per-weapon track before Mystic Gold. This page is the finale gate.

This gunCall of Duty Custom Order
Write the Black Ops 6 gun and the locked step: Mystic Gold, Opal, Afterlife, or the 10 Elites.
The per-weapon track before Mystic Gold
A fresh gun starts on Military, then 2 Specials, then Mystic Gold. Mystic Gold stays locked while a Military or Special camo on that gun is still open.
Finish both Specials. The Mystic Gold challenge is 10 kills rapidly, 15 times. Launchers swap that for 3 kills in a single shot, 15 times.
Opal on a gun waits until every gun in its category has Mystic Gold. The Opal challenge is 30 Special Zombie eliminations. Afterlife waits until 33 guns have Opal. Nebula waits until 33 guns have Afterlife, then 10 Elite kills on the gun you want in Nebula.
A DLC gun that ships after launch joins the same chain. Finish Afterlife on the live roster before the 10 Elite finale will open.
The 4 Zombies masteries
Black Ops 6 Zombies mastery is 4 names: Mystic Gold, Opal, Afterlife, Nebula. Multiplayer mastery on the same title is Gold, Diamond, Dark Spine, Dark Matter. That ladder is on the BO6 Gold page. Warzone mastery is Gold Tiger, King's Ransom, Catalyst, Abyss.
A Multiplayer Gold grind does not unlock Nebula. A Zombies Mystic Gold grind does not unlock Multiplayer Gold.
Mystic Gold 10 rapid kills x15Opal 30 Specials after the categoryAfterlife 20 clean kills x10Nebula 33 Afterlife, then 10 ElitesBlack Ops 7 uses different finale names
Black Ops 7 Zombies mastery ends at Infestation. Black Ops 7 Multiplayer mastery ends at Singularity. Those names live on the Black Ops 7 camo guide.
A 2026 search for “nebula camo” still means Black Ops 6 Nebula. Elite kills on a Black Ops 7 login do not finish this skin.

“33 weapons. Afterlife is 20 consecutive kills 10 times without damage. Body text: 10 Elite Zombie eliminations unlock Nebula. The recap list last bullet (5 kills without dying x3) disagrees with that body and with the wiki; we keep 10 Elites.”
