WoW Forever gold: FAQ

How does gold farming on my own character work?

You pick farming hours or a guaranteed lot, the method and your market. A Pro plays your character in sessions you agree in the order chat. The gold is earned on that character. After every session we post the hours played and the gold earned.

How much gold do farming hours earn?

Hours are time, and the gold is an estimate. At level 60 in launch weeks we expect about 20 to 60 gold an hour, so 10 hours at 60 is roughly 200 to 600 gold (estimate). Below 60 it is much less: about 3 to 10 gold an hour at levels 20 to 30 (estimate), and every character starts at level 1 when WoW Forever opens. Until your character is 60, a lot is the way to get a fixed amount. A lot is a guaranteed quantity: 100 g $49, 300 g $139, 500 g $219, 1,000 g $429, 2,000 g $799. The Pro farms on your character until the full amount is there.

Which ruleset, faction and region does the gold work on?

Gold stays inside 1 ruleset, 1 faction and 1 region, and each has its own auction house. Pick the ones your character plays on: Normal, PvP, Hardcore or RP; Alliance or Horde; US or EU. Hardcore opens after launch, and Hardcore orders start once it is live.

What is Remote control (Parsec)?

Parsec is a remote-desktop app. The Pro plays on your own PC, so your login never leaves your machine, and you can watch every session. Your PC stays on during sessions. It adds 30% to any pack or lot, rounded up to the whole dollar. We help you set it up in the order chat and match you with a Pro near your region for low latency.

When does farming start?

Farming starts when WoW Forever opens on November 4, 2026 at 3:00 PM PST. A new character levels and gathers on the way to 60. Level-60 farming rates start from mid-November, when the 1st characters reach 60. Small lots finish before large ones: 1,000 and 2,000 gold take several sessions.

Why is nothing traded or mailed?

Blizzard removes bought gold and acts against the accounts that receive it. On September 28, 2026 Blizzard said it will "increasingly take action against buyers' accounts" (Blizzard forums). On October 1, 2026 it said it is "continuously actioning" accounts that bought or knowingly received illicit gold (Blizzard forums). Blizzard Support warns against gold traded or mailed from unknown characters, and says gold from a "friend" or "alt character" can put you at risk too (Support article 379634). Your gold is earned in play on your own character. Nothing is bought from gold sellers, traded to you or mailed. This removes the trade and mail step Blizzard watches. It does not make any order risk-free. No service can promise zero risk.

Can my character earn gold from dungeon runs?

Yes. With the Dungeon runs focus, the Pro runs dungeons on your character for gold and drops to sell. Blizzard lets players sell carries for gold, with ads in the Services channel. The WoW Forever group finder on the beta also has a Carry Offered playstyle. Gold from every session is logged in your order chat.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Full refund any time before your 1st session. After that, unplayed hours, or the undelivered part of a lot, are refunded.

What do you need from me?

An active WoW subscription, the character name, and its ruleset, faction and region. For Piloted: your login on the post-payment form and your Battle.net two-factor code in chat. For Remote control: Parsec on your PC, and we help with the setup.
