Warframe Nidus: The Glast Gambit, Retouch, Prime and Build

Nidus comes from The Glast Gambit. The quest gives his main blueprint, and his 3 parts drop in Infested Salvage.

1. Finish The War Within quest.
2. Talk to Ergo Glast in the Perrin Sequence room of any relay.
3. Help secure the Mycona Colony on Monolith, Phobos.
4. Challenge Nef Anyo in the Index on Neptune. The matches stake 100,000, 120,000, 140,000, 160,000 and 180,000 credits.
5. Run the Spy mission on Oceanum, Pluto to find the source of his cheats.
6. Win the last Index match on Neptune to win back Neewa. The Nidus Blueprint is your reward.

Every match stakes your own credits. Hold 180,000 credits before you start.

The Glast Gambit cannot be replayed. A 2nd Nidus Blueprint comes from Cephalon Simaris or The Circuit.

Neuroptics, Chassis and Systems drop in Infested Salvage on Oestrus, Eris.

Since Update 42, rotations A and B drop Nidus parts too.

The main blueprint asks for 2,000 Kuva in place of Orokin Cells. Farm the Kuva while the parts build.

Ability	What it does
Passive: Undying	A fatal hit spends 15 Mutation Stacks instead of downing Nidus. He gets 5 seconds of invulnerability and returns to 50% Health.
Virulence	A trail of fungal growth bursts from the ground and damages enemies in its path.
Larva	An Infested pod latches onto nearby enemies and pulls them in.
Parasitic Link	Linked to an ally, it raises Ability Strength for both of you. Linked to an enemy, that enemy takes the damage aimed at Nidus.
Ravenous	A field of Infested growth heals Nidus and hatches Maggots. They latch onto enemies and burst.

Mutation Stacks grow as his abilities hit enemies. Each stack makes his abilities stronger.

Feeding Nidus to the Helminth unlocks Larva for your other Warframes.

The Nidus Retouch went live with Update 43, Jade Shadows: Constellations, on 17 June 2026.

Ravenous	Heals 75 Health/s, up from 20. Its pulses cleanse Status Effects.
Teeming Virulence	Primary Critical Chance bonus raised from 120% to 150%.

Parasitic Link can now target Specters and free-moving Companions such as Kavats.

Update 44.1, The Icebind, has run since 7 October 2026 with the retouched kit in place.

Nidus Prime came with Update 30.7 in 2021. His Prime Access added the Strun Prime and the Magnus Prime.

He entered the Prime Vault on 27 July 2023. He returned to Prime Resurgence on 29 October 2026, so Varzia sells his relics again.
