What it takes to get Radiant in Valorant
Radiant is the top rank in Valorant, and each region holds at most 500 Radiant players. You need 2 things at the same time:
- Your region's Radiant RR bar. In North America that is 450 RR, in Europe 500 RR.
- A top 500 spot on your region's leaderboard.
Meet only 1 of the 2 and you stay in Immortal 3. Radiant is a seat you hold: a player who passes you on the board can take it.
Radiant holds 0.03% of ranked players on PC in V26 Act 6. How many players hold each rank right now is on our Valorant rank distribution page.

Radiant RR bars by region
Riot sets an RR bar per region for Immortal 2, Immortal 3 and Radiant. Immortal 1 starts at 10 RR, and from there your RR keeps adding up with every win, with no cap. Each region keeps its own 3 bars in the table below.
| Region | Immortal 2 | Immortal 3 | Radiant |
|---|---|---|---|
| North America | 90 RR | 200 RR | 450 RR |
| Europe | 100 RR | 200 RR | 500 RR |
| Asia-Pacific | 80 RR | 200 RR | 400 RR |
| Brazil | 100 RR | 230 RR | 340 RR |
| Latin America and Korea | 90 RR | 150 RR | 200 RR |
The bar is a floor. When more than 500 players in a region pass it, the real line is the RR of the 500th player, and it moves every day with the board.
Where Radiant sits on the Valorant ladder
Valorant has 25 competitive ranks. The 8 named ranks from Iron to Immortal have 3 tiers each, and Radiant is a single rank on top. The shares are for V26 Act 6 on PC, across all regions.
| Rank | Tiers | Share of players |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 3 | 4.19% | |
| 1 to 3 | 14.10% | |
| 1 to 3 | 19.36% | |
| 1 to 3 | 22.29% | |
| 1 to 3 | 19.01% | |
| 1 to 3 | 12.82% | |
| 1 to 3 | 6.70% | |
| 1 to 3 | 1.50% | |
| 1 (no tiers) | 0.03% |
Immortal 3 is the step below Radiant. From Immortal up, your tier follows your RR against the regional bars, and Radiant also needs the board.
How to climb from Immortal to Radiant
From Immortal 1 the climb is about RR alone. A win adds RR, a loss takes some away, and the leaderboard ranks your region by that total.
- Bank RR past your Immortal 3 bar. In North America that is 200 RR. Below it, a loss can drop you back to Immortal 2.
- Push past your Radiant bar. That is 450 RR in North America and 500 RR in Europe.
- Climb into the top 500. Open your region's leaderboard in the game and filter it by rank to see where the lowest Radiant sits.
From Immortal 1 you queue solo, duo or as a full 5-stack. Trios and 4-player parties cannot queue.
Play the V26 Act 6 pool. Bind and Corrode joined Competitive on 13 October 2026, and Ascent and Split left. Our Valorant map pool guide covers every map, and the agent tier list shows who is #1 at Immortal and Radiant.
How to keep Radiant and your leaderboard spot
- Play 1 Competitive game every 7 days. Riot asks for it to keep your position on the leaderboard.
- Watch the lowest Radiant. You drop out of Radiant if you lose more RR than the lowest Radiant player in your region, or fall below your region's Radiant bar.
- A break costs no RR. Rank does not decay, but other players can pass you on the board while you are away.
Radiant lasts until the act ends. In a new act, Immortal and Radiant players keep their leaderboard position, but their RR drops by 90% and every Radiant goes back to an Immortal rank. Placements are 1 match in most acts and 5 at the start of a season or mid-season. Then the climb starts again.
