Marvel Rivals Season 10.5: Dates, Modes and Patch 20261009

Version 20261009 starts Season 10.5 on 9 October 2026 at 09:00 UTC, after about 2 hours of maintenance. Season 10.5 is the 2nd half of Season 10, Butcher's Blasphemy. It runs to 13 November, when Season 11 opens.

The headline is a new limited PvP mode, Infinity War, with 6 duo squads racing for the 6 Infinity Stones. The season event Infinity Finale gives a free Thor costume. October adds Halloween content on the 15th and 29th and a 50-player Endgame PvE mode on the 22nd.

There is no new hero in 10.5. Gorr, added on 11 September, stays the newest hero.

Ranks carry over from 10.0, and nothing resets on 9 October. The 10.5 Gold costume is Razor-Tooth for Jeff the Land Shark. Reach Gold III and play 10 Competitive matches before 13 November. Rank rules and the live rank distribution are on Marvel Rivals ranks.

Path to Doomsday: Avengers Infinity War is a limited PvP mode from 9 October 09:00 UTC to 11 December 09:00 UTC.

• 12 players form 6 duo squads.
• Each round, 2 squads face off head to head in a 2v2 on the fields of Wakanda.
• Each team gets 1 random Infinity Stone at the start. Every stone has its own ability.
• Eliminate a team to claim its stone.
• Between rounds you pick random upgrade cards for abilities and stats.
• The 1st squad to collect all 6 Infinity Stones wins.

The mode uses a pool of 13 heroes. The pick wheel in the trailer shows all 13.

• Vanguards: Doctor Strange, Thor, Captain America and Groot.
• Duelists: Black Panther, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Winter Soldier and Star-Lord.
• Strategists: Rocket Raccoon and Loki.

Every round is a 2v2, so you play with 1 partner the whole match. Queue with a friend and agree on 2 heroes that cover each other: 1 that holds space and 1 that deals damage. A stone you take from a beaten team stays with your squad, so the duo that wins its early rounds snowballs.

Infinity Finale is the season event, from 9 October 09:00 UTC to 10 December 09:00 UTC. Its quests unlock a free Thor costume, The Avengers. The event also brings Infinity War costumes for Black Panther, Doctor Strange and more.

2 new lore entries arrive with the patch: Thor, Spirit of Thunder, and Spider-Man, The Worthy Spider-Man.

The Times Square rewards end on 22 October, much earlier than the event. Collect them in the 1st 2 weeks.

Alchemax Headquarters joins the 18 VS. 18 mode on 9 October. It is the only map change in patch 20261009.

Other changes in the same patch:

• Water traversal emotes now work outside water, as stationary emotes.
• Winter Soldier: Trooper's Fist and Bionic Hook respond better on high latency.
• Gorr: a new Custom Targeting Sensitivity setting for Shadow Harvest.
• A bug in the emoji label UI is fixed.

The balance post for 9 October touches 13 heroes. Phoenix, Cyclops, Hawkeye and Jubilee get stronger. Gorr, Devil Dinosaur and Scarlet Witch lose damage or health. Iron Man's missiles now track targets but hit for less per missile.

Gorr	Duelist	Shadow Scythe 55 + 2% max health → 50 + 2%. Shockwave 60 → 55. Twilight of the Gods 12 → 10 s. Living Abyss cooldown 15 → 12 s, move speed during it 13 → 10 m/s.
Hawkeye	Duelist	Piercing Arrow speed 130–195 → 140–210 m/s. Crescent Slash recovers faster. Hypersonic Arrow starting width 3 → 5 m. Psylocke team-up: Psionic Arrow 32 → 33. Cloak & Dagger team-up: Moonlit Slash heals him for the healing it deals.
Iron Man	Duelist	Micro-Missile Barrage missiles now track nearby enemies. Damage per missile 20 → 10, at most 5 locks on 1 target, projectile speed 15 → 60 m/s. Overdrive missiles track enemies ahead, damage 15 → 10. Thor team-up: Unibeam outer ring 70 → 80/s, Thunder Overdrive 85 → 90/s.
Phoenix	Duelist	Cosmic Flames 60 → 65. Spark detonation 40 → 45, explosion 15 → 20. The self-heal becomes 5 bonus health for 4 s, up to 25. Endsong Inferno applies 2 Sparks. Hela team-up cooldown 12 → 10 s.
Scarlet Witch	Duelist	Chthonian Burst 40 → 35.
Adam Warlock	Strategist	Ultron team-up: Cosmic Cluster heal 16 → 18, explosion heal 5 → 7.
Gambit	Strategist	Charge time per stack 8 → 7 s. Ragin' Royal Flush search range 40 → 30 m. Jump Boost 500 → 300. Jubilee team-up: Sparkling Staff 1.5 → 2 s.
Jubilee	Strategist	Heals herself 25/s during Sparking Sprint. Dazzling Detonation Blind 1.5 → 0.8 s. New Blade team-up: allies heal 15/s for 6 s during Vampiric Kin. Firework Finale heal 150 → 180/s.

Several changes sit in team-ups. Hulk with Wolverine, Magneto with Emma Frost and The Thing with Invisible Woman all get shorter cooldowns or longer effects. Check your duo before you queue.

Hero letters after the 10.5 changes are on the Marvel Rivals tier list.

Halloween comes in 2 events, with new costumes in 2 collections: Fate Witches and Midnight Monsters.

The dates follow the 10.5 press release. Store drops in this patch turn over at 02:00 UTC, which is the evening before in the Americas. That is why the season roadmap lists the same drops on 16, 23 and 30 October.

All Halloween drops land inside the 10.5 window, before the 13 November reset. Prices show in the store on the day.

Path to Doomsday: Avengers Endgame opens on 22 October. It is a PvE mode for 50 players. Together they fight Thanos and his army in the ruins of the Avengers Compound.

Infinity War on 9 October is the PvP half of Path to Doomsday. Endgame on 22 October is the PvE half. Both start inside Season 10.5.

Twitch drops run from 9 October 12:00 UTC to 6 November 09:00 UTC. The reward is Angela's Will of Galacta costume with its bundle items.

Link your game account to Twitch, then watch drop-enabled Marvel Rivals streams inside the window. The drops close a week before the season ends, so claim them by 6 November.

Season 10.0 opened on 11 September 2026 and its content stays in 10.5.

• Gorr the God Butcher, a Duelist, is the newest hero. 10.5 trims his damage and adds a targeting setting for Shadow Harvest. He is hero 54. See every Marvel Rivals hero by role.
• Scarlet Witch kept her rewritten 10.0 kit. 10.5 lowers Chthonian Burst to 35.
• God Quarry, the map added on 24 September, stays in rotation.
• The Godbomb battle pass runs to 13 November. Its 10 costume sets include White Fox Cosmic Kumiho, Captain America Astral Aegis and Loki The Chronicler.
• Galacta's Gift Vol.3 brings back the Costume Coin and a larger Exchange Store until 13 November 09:00 UTC.
• Gods' Graveyard, the 10.0 Gold costume for Gorr, closed on 9 October. Razor-Tooth replaces it as the Gold reward.

The Godbomb closes with the season on 13 November. Count your remaining pages against that date.

Every division you add in 10.5 lifts your Season 11 start. A Diamond I finish predicts Platinum I. A Grandmaster III finish predicts Diamond III.
