How to get the Steel & Sons ACR: Broken Rain
The Steel & Sons ACR drops only in Broken Rain. The incursion takes place at the Steel Creek Dam in rural Pennsylvania.
- Open Broken Rain. Launch the incursion with your squad.
- Clear it in full. The final reward chest gives each character 1 roll at the rifle per week.
- Run it again. Bosses can drop the rifle on repeat runs, as often as you like.
- Be there for each boss kill. You must be present when the boss dies to get its drop.
- Use every character. Each one gets its own weekly chest roll.
| Source | When it can drop | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Final reward chest | After a full clear | 1 roll per character per week |
| Bosses | On repeat runs | Any number of runs |
A Pro squad can also run Broken Rain on your agent until the rifle drops.
Steel & Sons ACR, guaranteed on your agent
A Pro squad runs Broken Rain until the rifle drops. The armor for its build and the next Exotic have their own cards.
Steel & Sons ACR talent: Confirm & Execute
The rifle's Exotic talent is Confirm & Execute. It has separate PvE and PvP values.
- Body shots. Each body shot adds a stack to the enemy. Hitting a different enemy clears the stacks.
- Stacks. Each stack raises the rifle's Amplified Damage against that enemy.
- Headshot. Your next headshot consumes every stack for extra Amplified Damage.
- Weak points. Destroying a weak point makes that enemy take more damage from you for a short time.
| Mod slot | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Optics | +15% Critical Hit Chance |
| Magazine | +10 rounds |
| Underbarrel | +10% Weapon Handling |
| Muzzle | +10% Reload Time |
How to play the Steel & Sons ACR
The talent rewards a rhythm. Land body shots on 1 target, then finish with a headshot.
Switching targets clears the stacks. Stay on 1 enemy until the headshot lands.
