What is in Echoes of Central Park

Echoes of Central Park is a story expansion with a new map, companions at your side and a new endgame. Play it solo or in co-op.

The map: Central Park and the Upper West Side

The map runs from Lincoln Square to the Dakota District. It covers Central Park itself and the streets of the Upper West Side next to it.

Nature has overgrown the park and taken back the streets around it. A new apex threat lives in the park, and familiar enemy factions fight there too.

The story

The story is set the summer after Warlords of New York. It plays out as a flashback, with a narrator guiding the events.

Companions

3 companions fight beside your agent, each with a past and a fighting style of their own.

  • Brayleigh Callahan: Sniper, an Olympic shooting medalist.
  • Elwood Franklin: Protector.
  • Morse Feeney: Assault, a former Division agent.

A new endgame

You enter the park fighting to survive. Once you finish the story, the balance shifts. You return to Central Park as the hunter and take the fight on your own terms.

New challenges there pay exclusive rewards. Ubisoft has not named the mode yet.

The Ratel, a new gear set and 6 skill variants

  • The Ratel: a new exotic weapon. Ubisoft has not posted its class or stats yet.
  • A new gear set. Its name is still under wraps.
  • 6 new skill variants, earned by beating the park's main threats. 2 are named: Corrosive Trap and Gas Bomber. The other 4 are still unnamed.

Ready your agent for Central Park

Central Park opens on 3 November and the new endgame follows the story. Bring the build, Expertise and SHD you want.

Level 40 boost: who gets it

The boost lifts any agent below level 40 to 40, so a new or returning agent can start Echoes of Central Park right away.

Ubisoft has not said whether the Echoes boost is per character or per account.

Boost or level your own agent?

  • Take the boost if you are happy to reach 40 on 3 November and start the story that day.
  • Level your agent now if you want it at 40 before launch, with time to raise SHD and Expertise before the endgame opens.

To reach 40 early, see level 30 to 40 on your own agent.

After 40, 2 systems raise your agent's power. SHD levels give watch points for stat bonuses. Expertise upgrades the stats of the gear and weapons you keep.

Crossplay arrives the same month

The 3 November client update adds the crossplay options and menus. They stay inactive at that stage. On 10 November, PC players and clans move to the new crossplay environment.

PlayStation and Xbox players and clans move once the environment runs stable for some days. Ubisoft has given no date for the console move. The goal is a finished rollout before Season 4.

The full rollout, step by step: Division 2 crossplay dates.

What to do before 3 November

  • Pre-order either DLC edition if you want the NY Purifier Mask.
  • Clear room in your stash. Central Park brings a new gear set and the Ratel.
  • Pick the build you bring into the new endgame. Start from our Division 2 builds.
  • Pick your exotics with the Division 2 exotic tier list.
  • Raise Expertise on the weapon and gear types you use most.
  • Farm SHD levels if your watch is low.
