WoW Forever name reservation FAQ
Can someone reserve my WoW Forever name for me?
Yes. Our Pro logs in to your WoW account when Early Name Reservation opens and creates up to 3 characters with the names you picked. You send the names, backups, class, race, ruleset, faction and look in the order chat. You get a screenshot of your character screen when it is done.
When does WoW Forever name reservation open?
Early Name Reservation runs from 27 October to 3 November 2026, PST. Blizzard has not published the opening hour yet. Our Pro is logged in before the window opens, so you do not have to watch for it.
What do I need before the window opens?
An upgrade pack on the WoW account you will play: the Skyborne Heroic Pack, the Epic Pack or the Collection. The pack is tied to that WoW account. The window does not need an active subscription or Game Time. A physical Collector's Edition box ships later, so its code arrives after the window.
How many names can you reserve on 1 account?
Up to 3 characters per WoW account, the cap Blizzard set for the window. A 2nd WoW account with its own pack gets its own 3, and you can order them in a 2nd order.
What are the name rules in WoW Forever?
Every character has a 2-part name: a first name and a surname, and the surname is required. The full name is unique in your region on every ruleset. We check your list against Blizzard's naming policy before the window and help you pick backups.
What if my name is already taken?
Our Pro tries your backups in the order you gave them, up to 3 for every character. If all of them are taken, he asks you in the order chat before he creates anything.
How does the Pro log in to my account?
By hand, the way our Pros log in on every order: from our own gaming hubs, on a PC dedicated to your account and a residential IP in your own city, with appear offline and your 2FA code sent in the order chat. To the game it looks exactly like a family member logging in at home. With Remote control our Pro works on your own PC through Parsec.
Can you reserve a guild name?
Guilds are founded in the game with a guild charter, so a guild name can be claimed from the 4 November launch. Pick Guild name at launch: in the 1st hours after launch our Pro buys the charter and founds your guild under your name, and our team signs the charter.
Can I change the class or ruleset later?
Blizzard has not announced a paid rename, and a character cannot move to another ruleset without a transfer. On the PvP ruleset an account plays 1 faction. Tell us your plan and we set every character up for it.
Can you level the character after you reserve it?
Yes. The character you reserve is the one we level from 4 November. Add WoW Forever power leveling and your name reaches 60 before the 9 December raids.
