WoW Token vs Gold: Hours to 1 Token, or Buy Gold at $6

2 ways put gold on a character. The WoW Token is the Battle.net shop item. You pay $20 or €20. You receive 30 days of game time, or you list the Token on the Auction House and take gold. 2. Estimate gold per hour you will actually run: gather, crafts, world quests. Your number sits under a goblin highlight reel.
3. Hours to 1 Token = gold per Token ÷ gold per hour. At 20,000 gold per hour the Token is a 14.4-hour farm. At 40,000 gold per hour it is 7.2 hours. At 80,000 gold per hour it is 3.6 hours.
4. When that farm is longer than you will sit this week, the $6 gold pack is the cheaper rail for gold.
5. Open the gold price page for $/100k when you want the marketplace band next to the Token gold.

The $20 Token is still the only shop rail that also buys 30 days of game time or Battle.net Balance. Buy Token when you need game time. Buy Token when Hours to 1 Token is a short farm and you want the gold from listing. Buy the $6 pack when you want gold and you will skip the shop Token.
