WoW Obsidian Worldbreaker: Can You Still Get the Deathwing Mount?

Yes. The mount does not drop from a raid. A shop page that implies a live checkout is selling a hope. There is no current buy window on a product page.

2 printed sources exist. The Black Market Auction House, listed by Majordomo Executus at a starting bid of 200,000 gold. And recurring anniversary events. It was originally a 15th Anniversary exclusive from the Memories of Fel, Frost and Fire achievement. Blizzard's 5 November 2019 post said players who complete all 3 Memories of Azeroth wings receive the Obsidian Worldbreaker, a Black Dragonflight mount inspired by Deathwing. That event ran November 2019 into January 2020.

It returned for the 20th Anniversary Bronze Celebration in Tanaris. Players could buy it for 20 Bronze Celebration Tokens from Storekeeper Reginald. That window closed with the 20th Anniversary celebration. It is likely to return every 5 to 10 years. WoW's 21st year is 2025 to 2026. Blizzard has not printed a 21st-anniversary in-game celebration that re-lists this mount.

On 20 September 2026 the live calendar is Brewfest (20 September to 6 October). That event does not re-list Obsidian Worldbreaker.

BMAH: the mount can appear. Official proof that it is listed on your faction's Black Market this reset only exists if you open the BMAH NPC. Community reprints from 2019 to 2024 say “occasionally.” There is no published gold price beyond the 200,000 gold starting bid, and no published spawn day.

Anniversary: wait for the next printed celebration that re-lists anniversary exclusives. There is no official 21st-anniversary date on the calendars opened 20 September 2026. Do not start a gold farm on a date that does not exist.

If a boost site ranks for “deathwing mount,” read the listing date. Many of those pages skip the “is it even up” test. Sibling how-to of the same class: The Big G (Mythic Gallywix. That mount is a current journal raid roll).

Need gold for a BMAH bid if the NPC actually lists it? The gold page is the product. The mount itself is still a how-to.

Opened 20 September 2026:

• /wow. Hub. No Obsidian Worldbreaker basic SKU. This page does not print a dollar on the mount.
• /wow/gold. Gold delivery at $6 if you already confirmed the Black Market NPC listed the mount and you need the starting bid.
• Siblings: The Big G, expansions in order, weekly reset, Midnight gold methods.

Ask in chat whether the Black Market listed it this reset. A PRO can check a character that is already 90. Scoping is free.
