Primogems are the premium currency of Genshin Impact. They come from 2 pools. Renewable sources pay every day, month or version. The rest pay once per account, from exploration, quests and Achievements.

Masterless Stardust from wishes buys Intertwined Fates and Acquaint Fates in Paimon's Bargains, so it adds wishes without Primogems.

Version 7.1 runs 42 days, from 23 September to 4 November 2026. With full clears of every endgame mode, the fixed sources pay 6,370 Primogems in that version.

Paid passes add to that total. Blessing of the Welkin Moon pays 90 a day, so 3,780 over the 42 days. The Gnostic Hymn adds 680.

Events, new quests, redeem codes and the HoYoLAB check-in come on top of every row. The Welkin Moon also gives 300 Genesis Crystals at purchase, and Genesis Crystals convert into Primogems.

The fastest Primogems pay once per account. A younger account still has most of them open.

1. Explore every region. Chests, Teleport Waypoints, Statue upgrades and oculi all pay Primogems.
2. Finish Archon Quests, Story Quests and World Quests. Each quest pays on completion.
3. Claim your Achievements. Every finished Achievement pays Primogems in the Achievements menu.
4. Play every event. Each version brings new events with their own Primogem rewards.

A Region 100% Exploration takes Nod-Krai, Sumeru or Fontaine to 100% on your account, with every oculus offered at its Statue. Natlan 100% Exploration covers Natlan.

1 Intertwined Fate costs 160 Primogems. So 10 wishes cost 1,600, and 90 wishes cost 14,400.

Version 7.1 A Rekviem for the Underworld has been live since 23 September 2026. Its Phase 2 banners run to 3 November.

Version 7.2 Hour of Ruin starts on 4 November 2026. In 7.1, players at Adventure Rank 5 and up got 300 Primogems for the maintenance and 300 for issue fixes.

A new version also restarts the Gnostic Hymn period and brings a new set of events.
