Elden Ring Sacred Tear Locations: All 12 Churches by Region

Patch 1.17.2 has been live since 20 October 2026. Its 4 bug fixes leave the Sacred Tears as they were.

Every Sacred Tear lies inside a church, by the statue or the altar. Each tear adds 1 level of potency to your Flask of Crimson Tears and your Flask of Cerulean Tears.

The table groups the 12 churches by region, from Limgrave to the Mountaintops of the Giants.

4 Sacred Tears wait before Liurnia: 1 in Limgrave and 3 on the Weeping Peninsula. All 4 together take your flasks to +4.

1. Third Church of Marika. Ride east through Limgrave to Mistwood. The church stands just north of it, off the road. Rest at the grace inside, then pick up the tear near the statue.
2. Church of Pilgrimage. Head south onto the Weeping Peninsula and keep to its northern tip. This church has a grace inside, so rest there on arrival.
3. Callu Baptismal Church. Find the Ailing Village on the peninsula. The church stands beside it, and burning rats guard it.
4. Fourth Church of Marika. Ride to the hill west of Castle Morne. Mausoleum Soldiers guard the outside of the church.

Liurnia of the Lakes holds 3 Sacred Tears, and Caelid holds 1. With the 4 from Limgrave and the peninsula, these take your flasks to +8.

1. Church of Irith. From the Lake-Facing Cliffs grace, ride northwest to the ruined church. The tear lies near the statue.
2. Bellum Church. Follow the highway north toward the Grand Lift of Dectus. The church stands on that road, and the tear lies below its statue.
3. Church of Inhibition. Cross the Frenzied Flame Village fast, because the area builds Madness. The church sits on the hilltop to the northwest. An invader attacks as you approach.
4. Church of the Plague. Travel to Sellia, Town of Sorcery, in Caelid. The church sits on the cliffs east of the town.

The last 4 tears sit on the Altus Plateau and in the Mountaintops of the Giants. They take your flasks from +8 to +12.

1. Second Church of Marika. Ride from the Altus Highway Junction grace to the church nearby. During Yura's quest, Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger, invades here.
2. Stormcaller Church. Look among the cliffs of the Altus Plateau. Inside, the tear lies by the statue.
3. Church of Repose. Climb Flame Peak toward the Fire Giant. Bloody Finger Okina invades at the church entrance.
4. First Church of Marika. Cross to the north of the Mountaintops. The tear lies below the statue inside the church.

These 2 Mountaintops churches complete the set of 12.

1. Rest at any Site of Grace.
2. Choose Flask in the menu.
3. Choose Increase amount replenished by flasks.
4. Confirm, and 1 Sacred Tear becomes 1 level of potency.

Potency sets how much each sip restores. Charges are a separate upgrade: Golden Seeds take them from 4 up to 14.

The Crimson Seed Talisman adds 20% to every Crimson sip. The Flask of Cerulean Tears gains FP from the same Sacred Tears.

Sacred Tears do nothing for the Flask of Wondrous Physick. That flask runs on Crystal Tears.

All 12 Sacred Tears are in the base game. The Shadow of the Erdtree map adds none.
