FAQ
How does the Vex Mythoclast exotic drop work?
IMPORTANT: you must complete the full raid start-to-finish — joining at a checkpoint does NOT count for the exotic drop. Vex Mythoclast drops only from Atheon (final boss) at roughly a 5% base rate, with aggressive bad luck protection raising it ~2-3% per failed clear and capping near 50% after 10+ clears. You get one attempt per character per week (3 total).
Is VoG a legacy raid? Can I farm it infinitely?
Yes — VoG is in the Legends node as a legacy raid. Legendary weapons and armor are fully farmable with no weekly lockout. However, the Vex Mythoclast exotic drop is still weekly-locked per character (3 attempts per week max). Master mode and challenges are only available when VoG is the featured raid in the weekly rotation (Week 4 of a 7-week cycle).
What are Timelost weapons?
Timelost weapons are the VoG equivalent of Adept weapons. They drop from Master encounter challenges and have: +3 to all stats (except Impact), dual perks in columns 3 and 4 (two perks per column — switchable), Adept Mod compatibility, and a unique non-transferable shader. Timelost Fatebringer with Rewind Rounds + Firefly is considered the best legendary hand cannon in D2.

What is the Timelost Magazine origin trait?
All VoG weapons now have the Timelost Magazine origin trait (added Episode Heresy, Feb 2025). Kills grant bonus Super energy. When your Super expires, the weapon's magazine size is doubled and reloads from reserves. This is exceptionally strong on Hezen Vengeance (rockets) and Corrective Measure (machine gun) — doubled magazine on heavy weapons is massive DPS uptime.
How do I get the Fatebreaker title?
23 triumphs required: Normal + Master completions, all 5 encounter challenges on Master (Maestro Glasser), 3 subclass runs (Arc/Solar/Void full fireteam), same-class run, clan run, flawless (zero deaths), 4 hidden chests (Temporal Caches), 12 collectibles (Pearl of Glass), and encounter-specific feats. Fewer than 3% of players earn it.
