WoW Shadowlands
Not satisfied with the offer range? No problem, we can find it together!
Farming PvP gear refers to the process of constantly queueing up for battlegrounds or arenas in hopes of winning games, earn currency, and trade it for rewards. There are 4 ways to do the Shadowlands PvP gear farm in total:
Honor points - earned in all PvP activities and have no limit.
Conquest points - has a limit and is earned in specific activities.
PvP Vendors - used to exchange honor and conquest for gear.
Weekly Vault.
On top of that, the gear obtained from the honor points can be upgraded with more honor, but that process has some requirements:
The First 3 ranks have no additional preconditions.
Ranks 4 and 5 - takes renown-level 43.
Ranks 6 and 7 - takes renown-level 59.
So, in addition to Shadowlands PvP gear farming, you add the Renown farming too. Each gear piece has its own cost of upgrading. So, the overall price you’ll pay for everything is different for each type of gear:
Off-Hands - 3550
Gladiator-type Trinket, Wrist, Cloak, Ring, Neck slots - 4275
Damage-type Trinket, Wrist, Cloak, Ring, Neck slots - 5700
Melee One-Handed, Shields, Chest, Helmets, Legs - 7125
Two-Handed - 14250
On the other hand, the gear obtained with conquest can be upgraded as your PvP rank is increased. But you must keep in mind that if you lose your rank, you will have a very small window to get back into your bracket. And the price for upgrading the conquest gear is actually greater overall compared to the gear obtained with honor:
Off-Hands - 4500
Gladiator-type Trinket, Wrist, Cloak, Ring, Neck slots - 5350
Damage-type Trinket, Wrist, Cloak, Ring, Neck slots - 7300
Melee One-Handed weapons - 9000
Two-Handed weapons - 18000
This all comes down to farming the currencies more than the WoW PvP weapons farm, per se. Since honor is used for both buying and upgrading gear, it makes it a very important currency to farm. In order to do that efficiently, one must know and follow some essential rules:
Use banners - the banners sold by the guild vendors provide a 5%, 10%, and 15% bonus honor increase.
Never miss on daily, weekly and seasonal activities - these are the source of best honor income.
The Seasonal quest - restarts with each new PvP season and rewards with 1000 honor points, which is not bad compared to everything else.
Tour of Duty Achievement - earning this achievement also grants 1000 honor points.
Weekly quests - helps with the consistency when earning the points. Weekly check-ins are super essential.
Daily wins - is the most simple way of earning honor points. Winning is usually difficult, but it is the main way to earn currency.
It is a very challenging and time-consuming task to keep WoW farming this currency, but players that want to have good PvP gear have no other choice. Or do they?
