Ember Engine is the new gear set of Red Horizon, Season 3 of Year 8 in The Division 2. Two pieces give 8% skill efficiency, three pieces give 30% status effect, and four pieces unlock Spontaneous Combustion: every status effect you apply has a 40% chance of also applying burn, and an enemy that was already burning takes 25% more burn damage for the duration. The chest piece raises the burn chance and the backpack extends the burn debuff.

Ember Engine drops as targeted loot in Red Horizon. A Pro farms the zones and activities that target it on your account until every piece of the set is in your inventory. Every other high-end and exotic piece that drops on the way stays yours.

Pick the platform, the boost method and the speed. In piloted play a Pro plays your agent. In self-play you stay on your account and farm with a Pro group. Piloted and self-play cost the same. Ember Engine needs a level 40 character.
